man, in a few hours when people wake up and do their daily pre-work lhcf check, this thread is gonna blow up. subscribing!
 
Hmmm, in a way this may be a bit of a 'reality check' for lack of better words to remind us all that the internet is a place where nothing is 100% private... One thing I'm sure many are wondering though is if it's possible to find out who this is through an IP address?
Once a couple years ago a lady on the board was getting nasty messages on her fotki and we found out where it was coming from but the member who it was traced back to, but that got worked out peacfully.... But I really don't know much about IP addresses or all that.
Let's just hope the site doesn't turn into a LHCF version of Encylopedia Dramatica, nuff said.

They shouldn't because it's "not nice" but you can't stop them. Siggys are viewable to lurkers, even though it seems like this person is a paid member. Anybody can right click a pic and swipe it from anywhere.

THIS is why some members are not comfortable posting their pictures. I've seen this happen on other sites as well :nono: Makes no sense.

Wow. Just WOW. I have never posted pictures for this reason -- I like my privacy too much . . .

I read thru the blog and was was like :lachen: at first but then reading thru some of the responses got me thinking how some crazy with nothing else to do can just go nuts online with your photos. Couple of the targets are my absolute favorites: Iris and Sylver2 and I based on their posts, they seem to be taking this in stride.

First of all, Iris thank you for alerting us to this. I am speechless. I am shocked and appalled that someone would go to such lengths to hate on others. Everything is not for everybody. While we may not always like people in this world, we can all learn from them. However, to be so brutal and post pictures and words filled with vile and venom is childish and un-ladylike all together. That troll needs to really get a life.

I know that I have chatted with some of you ladies for quite a few years and even met some of you IRL (in real life). Each one of you has a different personality. I was greeted warmly and accepted by all and I was grateful for the experience, good time and knowledge that was shared.

You would have to have access to google's databases to figure out who started that blog.....so umm dont get your hopes up too high that it will be concretely figured out based on IPs.
 
Iris, thank you for alerting us to this, I cannot believe anyone would stoop so low to do such a thing. What you can't respect, you cannot have, it you want to be rich and you hate rich people, you can never be rich, if you want long hair and hate ladies on this site, who have long hair, you will never get it.

Dont you think posting this on the "Hair care tips & Product discussion" section is even MORE destructive....it only adds to the drama, unless of course that was the purpose... enough folks go to the off topic section that it would not have been missed

oh yeah I just wanted to add to drama, meanwhile this person has MY pic up and is saying hateful shyt about me and sending me whack youtube msgs, I had a plan in this :rolleyes:

whatever, I just posted, nothing more to it really, then it was suggested it be posted in O/T , so now it is
