@EnExitStageLeft What does that even mean when people say that? Like....why weren't you "enjoying" your hair before? I've seen that on here and it really left me scratching my head....

EnExitStageLeft For me, foreever PSing is not always enjoyable...well, almost never enjoyable (again, for me). When many people are in a PS, their hair can be 50-100% covered. This is why many weren't "enjoying" their hair before.

EXACTLY! . When I'm HL (Speaking that thang into existence ). I won't stop bunning, I'll just start fancy bunning, hair sticks, hair candy, twirls and braids....the whole nine'. I borin' bun now, but it works so I stick to it like elmers .

When my hair is long enough I'm going to bun probably 90% of the time. I really like my hair up more than down, which is why I wanted a short cut, but none of them fit my face so I'll keep clips in my hair until I can make pretty buns with flowers in them

Stop using that hair oil it will clog your pores and stop your hair from growing.

She was more focused on the cheese & strawberry plate and chilled water. I don't think she fully explained her hair history/situation to the stylist at the chi chi/upscale salon. She wanted to transition to a texturizer. The lady applied the thio treatment to all of her hair, not just the new growth. Thio and Sodium Hydroxide don't mix. The double processed hair is fragile and breaking off by the handful. She's a fast grower, so she'll be okay once her scalp is healed. I'm not sure if her scalp was based properly or not. It was a major vent session about the thio getting on the previously processed hair.

Her hair is finer than mine, but she has a higher density. I wish she would transition, but you can only make suggestions and KIM. Due to the density, she refuses to entertain transitioning. She feels, it would be too overwhelming to deal with.

She was embarrassed by a mutual friend, who tagged along for thread/waxing services, because she was making sure the mani/pedi area was thoroughly clean/disinfected, before upgrading her services. That friend says , she should have been more focused on the hair services she was receiving, instead of playing "high society" and acting like she'd never seen a strawberry, before. Also, the mutual friend, states she canceled/rescheduled two consultation appointments, because she's too busy.

Mutual friend, feels both parties have some liability in this mess. Both of them say the salon is beautiful and you'll feel like a Queen.

karezone I just dump the conditioner down the drain and use the shampoo to clean brushes, combs, wash hands....

I use my unwanted conditioners to wash my WCs and bathroom sinks.

:burning: I swear I felt like just dying. My hair was itching so bad i went to a dermatologist. I ended up spending ~150$ on the visit plus prescription product. This was at the very beginning of my journey and it has never happened again.

I'm going to keep my relaxed hair braided in a tight beehive cornrow for six weeks under my wig and retain lots of growth.

Yeah I had to look over my shoulder when I read the coconut oil. I bought a HQ sample pack which came with lime coconut oil. It smells soo good. But it makes my hair feel like a brick. I'm going to learn one day.

mezzogirl ...I wanted to do that LadyPaniolo method. I was pretty excited. I followed the directions and put in the beehive..hum,hum, I was so happy!! I took my hair down and lost a 1/4 inch segment but it was pretty long. Pieces are coming up missing? No, I better go back to the braids and the LOC method and keep my reese's pieces! It was not a total setback. Just a lesson not to do it again. I got off easy with that one.
