I am often reading post and ppl are speaking very vaguely about setbacks. They make statements like " I went from APL to SL after my setback in April...yadda, yadda, yadda.."
I am alway left wondering what kinda setback could/would cause that.
I am not trying get up in anyones personal business.......just trying to fully understand what kinds of setbacks I/We are at risk for as we trial and error though this hair growth journey.
Examples would be nice......
TIA

- Wikipedia describes a SETBACK as: A problem or obstacle which makes it difficult to achieve a desired goal, objective or purpose.
- It refers to a situation, condition, or issue that is yet unresolved. In a broad sense, a problem exists when an individual becomes aware of a significant difference between what actually is and what is desired.

I've bc'd and have been growing my hair for two years now and reached apl in June. But now, after 4 months, I'm still at APL. And why? Because for some reason after trying different things to see what works best for my hair, I forgot what really worked, so now I might have to retrim my hair which I just trimmed two weeks ago (booo). But definitely, I can say I've learned (albeit the sad, hard, and discouraging way.)
