I was in desperate need of a moisturizing mist. I tried S-curl but it has way too much glycerin in it. So I took a moisturizer that I know works very well for my hair and simply diluted it with water.

I might try diluting Scurl next.

Beamodel, I diluted my Oyin & will report back how I like it in about a week. I agree with soonergirl -- dilute Scurl before you give up on it. It's a little too sticky when using it straight so adding water lessens the sticky feeling and increases hydration.

winona, I use a 50:50 ratio. I typically use a 2 oz or 4 oz bottle and just eyeball the 50:50 ratio. I like using smaller bottles because it's easier to grip with my hands. In addition, I switch up what I spritz with so I prefer to not have large volumes on hand.

This smells just like an activator gel. I might as well buy some activator gel from the store which is cheaper and I'll get more uses out of it.

Kizuri Beauty Coconut Mango Leave-In Conditioning Cream

This is now a miss, my hair felt dry bout time I got home.

Camille Rose Naturals Fresh Curl-great slip and softness...initially. My hair airdried stiff and dry. If your hair likes glycerin, this is for you. I am guessing that my hair doesn't.
Nubian Heritage Cowash Conditioner-it left my hair a bit dry and the smell is WAY too loud and floral.

Camille Rose Almond Jai Twisting Butter. Amazing softness for days!
Camille Rose Aloe Whipped Butter Gel. Softness, shine, frizz control and definition all in one. Love it for twist/braid/bantu knot outs.
BASK Vanilla Whiskey Repairative Hair Soak. My hair LOVES this DC. Although it has protein, it leaves my hair super soft.

Soutanicals Hair Sorell for the L.O.C Method (LCOB)....LOVING IT! Its good as a leave, but the bomb on dry hair. It works a lot like the Komaza sprays, which I love btw.

Potential Hit:

Creme of Nature Argan Oil Shampoo- I think I judge this to harshly before. It actually cleanse my hair nicely and didn't leave any build-up behind. Its only a potential hit because I used it directly after chelating, so the results may have been altered. I will used it again this week by itself and see if its a definite keeper.

Nice & Curly-Curl Smoothie...Very thick smooth creamy,absorbs,used best on wet/damp hair..Drys fast..Littke goes a long way...I use As I Am Butter on ends..

As I Am-Double Butter Cream..Heavy butter,seales nicely,leaves hair soft,little to no frizz..Held up in this super hot 90+degree weather.

HV-Omega oil..Works well during this time of year,keeps moisture in when applied on top of leave-ins,right before your style gel.

Cupuacu Butter - (Steam refined)

I used it alone this time after a wash for two-strand twists - WOWZERS. No leave-in, nothing and my hair is beautiful. (just a spray bottle of George's Aloe)

If your hair is having a hard time holding moisture -
If your hair is zig zag/coarse when it is dry

Then try Cupuacu butter after your hair treatment.

This is my condition and my current butter mix wasn't doing anything - not even Mango butter which I loved when my hair was shorter.
