The most expensive stuff I've ever bought was Elucence

Me too. After shipping, I spent $30 on the shampoo, conditioner, and clairifying shampoo. That cured me. I read ingredients on everything and look for quality, less expensive products.

Keracare Humecto in a tub... I paid (including tax) $57 in downtown Brooklyn, NY (Korean BSS rip off as usual  )

I wish I read the LHCF vendor forum b4 I bought... I could've bought that and some other products from other places around the country (and from a Black owned BSS) for the same price I paid.

Girl, you should've bought it on Irbys.com and save yourself $10. Just got my tub this morning--can't wait to try it tomorrow!

i dont pay anything. my moms a stylist an shes always trying to give me free product.. unfortunatly for her. im not a product junkie. however if ever i wanted to try a new product i could always go to her to get some.

at times i do pay her for it, but she always gives it to me at the wholesale price.

LOL...I'm ashamed to say, but I've spent well up to 50 dollars for a product. I'll spend more for hair care product then I'll spend on shoes. It's pitiful. :lachen:

Chayil

$50 for BBD Stretch--worth it
$40 for Ojon Restorative treatment--worth it
$40+ for Rene Furterer scalp treatment--still not sure about this one

I spent over $100 on the extra large jar of Ojon ...it was well worth it and it's almost gone!

You are so right on the money with the Ojon!

Dennis about to get all your money at Ojon if you are about done. I love their products also.

Now i don't feel like such a dummy

i spent...$60 Canadian on dominican products and then they hit me with $30 charge for customs and $20 for shipping..so I ended paying close to $120 for hair products from sickbay!

i was sooooo mad. The guy said if i buy less than $40 they can't hit me with so much for shipping and customs.

next time i will know...

Miss Jessie's Baby Buttercreme was the most expensive hair product I've ever purchased. It's decent, although I don't use it anymore. I get better results with an anti-frizz creme and some gel. I just spent $26 on some Keracare shampoo and conditioner. I don't think I'll ever do that again. The shampoos and conditioners I currently use work perfectly fine on my hair, yet I still had to purchase the Keracare. It's the PJ in me.

Today I spent approximately $160 dollars on Aveda products. I purchased the Damage Remedy Line (shampoo, conditioner, & intensive restructuring treatment), elixir leave-on conditioner, Light Elements Smoothing Fluid, Brilliant Universal Styling Creme & Forming Gel. These are the products the stylist used on my hair. I would like to try Ojon, but is hesitant b/c I don't want to spend a lot on something that I am not be pleased with.

I'am the only one that voted option 1????
Wow,I guess I'am cheap!
Of course I didn't count the rollers,my hooded dryer and the flatiron because that are basics I HAD to get.And there would be my beginning stage where I splurged on Keracare Products but they didn't work for me anyways so I never went back down that road.
Other then that I just by suave products and my NTM MASK and SILK TOUCH Conditioner.

It works for me,my hear went from barely necklength to SL,so I'am gonna stick with my cheap regimen. Why fix what isn't broken?
HGH everyone!

most expensive product i've bought is $32 plus tax for the 16 oz Aveda DPHR...well worth it  i think the most $$$ i've spent is at Aveda. I'm sure I've spent 100+ dollars there plenty of times in the past.

I don't think my hair is high class, I just have a bad habit of going out and buying everything y'all suggest. I have product on top of product everywhere in my house.

I spent $50 on DRC 28. Like others have said, it's so worth it, because it lasts for so long. I've had my bottle a year now and even shared a litte with a friend. I love both DRC and Aphogee so I alternate between the two and that helps to stretch it out further.

How many oz is the DRC?

Okay ladies, you got me :-((. I am a cheap product junkie. I voted between $12 - $18.

I am with you. I do own a high end flat iron but that will last we a long time. My normal staples are never more than $20 and I always buy the liter sizes of shampoos and professional size tubs of conditioner so I get a lot for that money.

6-11  for products
around 30 for my flat iron

I bargain shop for sport and dont use products I cant go out and buy

$27-34 dollars

It's the aveda DR stuff. This is the only thing that cost that much. Most of my other products are in the $6 - $15, giovanni products, qhemet products,

I've been really getting into salon quality products for my hair. I used to think that there was no difference in drugstore cheapies, and Nexxus, but when I look at the therappe shampoo, I can even tell the difference in texture versus the drugstore shampoos. They just look like they have all kinds of unnecessay filters in them. I find that they're worth it because my humectress lasts a LOoooonG time!!!

I buy the Elucence MB Conditioner in the big tub(can't remember the size) I believe it is around 37, but it lasts me for months. I am super cheap, I have cut my pj-ism wayyyy down and for me less is more.

My tub of Humecto ($34), Affirm 5-in-1 ($27), and KeraCare Leave-in ($16) are quite pricey! But if you include dryers and tools... Well, I'm high-class!!

My most expensive purchase was for Terax Crema Conditioner. I must say that it has been worth the price, I've had great results from it and it was a large container.

I don't think I've ever spent more than $14 on a product....other than that I spent $69.99 on hair for my sew-in...and I had to buy 2 bundles!! (thanks bmore, :lachen:)
