COWASH CHALLENGE PART 3 OFFICIAL CHALLENGE THREAD (July 1-September 30, 2012)

@Ogoma, How do you like the DevaCurl One? I see that you cowash with it quite a bit.

@faithVA
I actually like it a lot. It is not a staple because of the price and I am moving towards cheaper/more cost-effective co-washers once my stash is down, but will repurchase with a deep discount.

I get a lot of moisture and some great shine with this product. I gather that means it lays my cuticles down. I have never used it as a leave-in because of the glycerin (my hair does not act right with glycerin regardless of dew point).

Can I join @Diva_Esq ?

How many times per week will you cowash? 2x
What conditioners are you planning to use? Garnier Pure Clean Fortifying Conditioner
What do you hope to achieve by cowashing? Softness, Moisture, and Length Retention
How often (if ever) will you use shampoo? No Poo

Leslie_C I love, love, love this CON Argan Oil Conditioner!!:lick::lick: My hair is so lush and loving it!! I haven't even tried the shampoo yet, I only tried the conditioner after a co-wash. Cond it and bun it!!

@KaramelDiva1978
OMG you wouldnt believe how much I love this shampoo! I have tried probably 1/2 a dozen sulfate free shampoos and none of them made my hair feel good...but this stuff made my hair feel soft and melted tangles out when it touched my hair. It is definitely exactly what Ive been looking for! I cant find it locally either, but if you look on their website it will tell you where you can find it. I happened to be going to a bigger city an hour away, so I picked it up when I was there. It is definitely a staple. I thought I would like Sheamoisture, but it didnt give me any slip and I need slip.

@Diva_Esq would you add me to the challenge? I forgot to post a pic in my other post, but Ill post one in this one :) I just did twists for the first time on my transitioning hair. The ends look too scraggy to wear down, but it works for updos and Ill play around with rolling the ends.

I have been working out almost daily so I have been cowashing a lot! What do you do for styling when you cowash daily? I don't want to manipulate my hair too much but I'm sticking with my workout routine!

shortt29: I usually wet bun. I protective style a lot. Or I do a wash n go ponytail.

Co-washed yesterday with CJ Beauticurls Strengthening. Co-washing today with TJ TTT and conditioning with CR Jansyns Moisture Max.

Cowashed w/Aussie Moist(prepoo), washed with VO5 Naturals Strawberries and Creme, final rinse w/Suave Shea and Almond on Thursday nite.

I applied Trader Joe's Tingle Treat Conditioner to dry hair for at least 2.5 hours then washed it out on the following days:

Sunday, July 15th
Tuesday, July 17th
Thursday, July 19th
Sunday, July 22nd
