Im thinking of joining this challenge. What styles are you ladies doing when u cowash so often? Cause all i can think of is a bun or updo right now.

I CW this morning with a mixture of conditioners, because of the heat, my hair dried fairly quickly. I realize I don't like to go to bed with a wet head so I will be moving all future CWing to morning or early afternoon.

I've decided to rotate co wash conditioners on a weekly basis. This week I used suave refreshing waterfall mist. I will be going to pick up some vo5 scents and more suave. I like the tressemme naturals enough but I need some smell good :look:

Overnight DC with HQS botanical peppermint coconut DC. First time using and me likey so far. Nice n tingly. I may shampoo in the a.m if not definitely cowash

Cowashed last night with CJ Daily Fix Cleansing conditioner then dc with Jessicurl deep conditioner. Must say I loved the CJ cleansing condish!

Cowashed with Suave Coconut, used Tresemme Naturals as my leave in and sealed with castor oil.

Twisted my hair up and put it in a bun. I'm loving this combo :yep:

Cowashed with Suave Humectant after henna

How many times per week will you cowash?
4-5 times per week or more...depending on my workout schedule
What conditioners are you planning to use?
In rotation currently: Suave Coconut, HE Hello Hydration, Tresseme Naturals (Moisture), Suave Humectant, and VO5
clarifying conditioner or Moisture Milk

What do you hope to achieve by cowashing?
Retaining length, easing my transition, and cleaning my scalp after workouts
How often (if ever) will you use shampoo?

I use a clarifying poo once a month before Henna and will only use shampoo when my hair feels coated or weighed down by product (about twice a month)

I have been looking for the CON shampoo how do you like it? I cannot find it anywhere locally. I only find the condish and the leave in.

OMG you wouldnt believe how much I love this shampoo! I have tried probably 1/2 a dozen sulfate free shampoos and none of them made my hair feel good...but this stuff made my hair feel soft and melted tangles out when it touched my hair. It is definitely exactly what Ive been looking for! I cant find it locally either, but if you look on their website it will tell you where you can find it. I happened to be going to a bigger city an hour away, so I picked it up when I was there. It is definitely a staple. I thought I would like Sheamoisture, but it didnt give me any slip and I need slip.

Diva_Esq would you add me to the challenge? I forgot to post a pic in my other post, but Ill post one in this one :) I just did twists for the first time on my transitioning hair. The ends look too scraggy to wear down, but it works for updos and Ill play around with rolling the ends.

Checking In,

I co-washed this morning with my boo- V05 Moisture Milks {{Passion Fruit}}, SAA, and aloe vera juice. I forgot to add a few drops of Rosemary EO this morning but I will be sure to add a few drops for my next co-wash.

Since joining this challenge (a strong two or three months ...) I have noticed great things with my hair. I stay in PSs but I can tell that my hair is darker, fuller, and richer. I know the results I have is a mixture of all of the things I am doing for the health of my hair but I recognize that my hair/scalp loves moisture. My scalp does not NEARLY itch as much as it did earlier this year and I attribute that to the frequency of co-washing.

I hope you all are doing well ... :yep:
