Yep! That's how I say it too. I've never heard anyone say Aveeda before.

I've never heard anyone pronounce it as A-vee-da before either. The first time I'd ever heard of it was when I went to an Aveda salon, and I've always pronounced it as A-vay-da.

I believe the correct pronunciation is ahvayduh. Thats how they said it when I called em. Who really knows though

when i first said it to my girlfriend I said a-vee-da and she was like yeah i really like a-vay-da products too!!! I felt like an idiot but figured she was right since I just started using the product... But I say crazy stuff all the time so she probably didnt think twice about it....hahah

This is the exact opposite of the way it happened to me. I mentioned a-vay-duh and my girlfriend immediately said, yeah a-vee-da products are great.

I have an aunt name Veda and it's pronounced Vayda so assumed that's how it was pronounced as well.

Just like I pronounce Fotki, F-ot-ki (short "o") instead of F-oot-ki like everyone else
