Was the EVCO used as a heat protectant or did you use a separate protectant?

It was just used. not as heat protectant specifically. There was nothing else used besides coconut oil.

Is your hair layered, how did you get those beautiful curls on the ends and do you have a video showing how you did this? If not please make one or post link. TIA and thanks for sharing!

I guess it's kinda bootleg layered because at one point when I BCed all the hair was one length, so it falls at different layers....
I got the curl at the end by curving the maxiglide when i got to the ends of the hair... I don't know if I have a video showing it, but I think I might have one on my yt channel. I'll check later for you.

Ugh, i hate roller sets, i can't do em to save my life. I've given up on em and i wont be trying them in the future. Since '05 when I got my first maxi, that's all i used for straightening.

Now did you straighten it yourself because that's a lot of work?

Yeah I straightened on my own, it took longer than before since i hadn't done it in a while, and my hair has grown, (and cuz i was watching back to back ANTMs and getting sidetracked) but it's worth it to do it myself, i feel.
