either way though.... your hair looks great... hence why i keep coming in here to find things to say so i dont feel like a weirdo for just coming in here to look at your hair lol

yes, thank you! crystal clear lol. like i said, i'm slow tonite  very sleepy. any who. i always get mixed messages about oil and flat ironing. see, most people would say oil and heat dont go (not like hot oil treatments though) because you're literally frying your hair.

but then i remember an unofficial science experiment someone had posted in their fotki. they got 2 pieces of bread. one slice had evco on it and the other had either evoo or something right. they then put the 2 pieces in the toaster and the one with evco was nicely browned while the one with the other oil was BURNT up!!!! so they was saying evco was a heat protectant too....

but i cook and fry things with evco and it fries nicely so i dun understand...

No prob!

Yeah, it seems "wrong" to do because ur right about literally frying...but somehow it works, and just always has for me. With no damage.

I've only done it with coconut oil, I have never tried olive or anything because I once tried a hot oil treatment with evoo and my hair hated it, so i won't try ironing w/ that oil ever. coconut oil just....i dunno...just works for me.

lol at the unofficial science experiment. glad it worked out in coconut oil's favor tho :)

Very pretty Whimsy! I expected you to say that you get at least an inch a month. You are really great at retention. Thanks for sharing.

Newbie here! Your hair is beautiful and an inspiration to me. But you gotta tell me, what do you do to get such fabulous back muscles? I couldn't help but :notworthy notice...

OKAY!! This looks nice! I really love your color. It's my dream color if i wasnt such a chicken about coloring.

Your hair looks great! You don't need a salon to straighten your hair. Evidently you know what you are doing.

Johnson's better pick you or else we're all boycotting their products! Lol! Gorgeous! All the ladies that entered this thread have gorgeous hair. I'm still working on mine.

Did you use Maxiglide with steam and the plate with teeth?
