Today we talked finances and I talked about the mainland idea. She got testy saying she "wasn't struggling" financially. I calmly pointed out that she told me she could only afford 6 weeks leave with her current kid and the same goes for the one she's preggers with now. Her response: "Well, I supposed I could take more time off with this one, but I'm trying to avoid it as much as possible".
Huh? How can you be going on for dang near 5 years saying you want a husband and child and then say you want to get away from your TWO kids as fast as possible. lol . Oh, well. I shared my idea about stacking her income and now I don't feel as agitated. I feel like other people have probably commented on her situation and she's feeling defensive. You'd think she'd take the hint.
