So this thread is inspired by a buzzfeed video where they threw couples for a loop asking them how many people they've been with, and it was funny as heck.

In my case, we didn't need to have the convo, cos he's the only one I've been with, but I know his number (5.. lol). We've been besties forever, so I know everyone he's been with.

So, would you ever reveal to your BF/SO/DH how many people you've been with? Do you know his number?
 
I for real have an issue believing those 150+ people... I mean, there is no way you kept count of that many, so people just make things up.
 
We don't know each other's exact number but we do know a range. It's the same for both of us. I don't remember how we got on the subject. It just came up naturally but not until after we were engaged already.

But if dh absolutely had to have a number and wouldnt shut up about, id throw out some bs number like 1 or 213.

He tried to ask me a few weeks ago i just ignored him and said "oh look, a bird"
 
I've told DH how many people I've been with and vice versa. I can't remember at what point we shared that info with one another but it wasn't really a big deal and we didn't dwell on it. I don't think he even remembers the number I told him lol.
 
nah. theres lots of **** id never tell my partner, this is one of them. im not a fan of so called full disclosure intimacy.
 
If we were married, I'd tell him some fake a.ss number to keep the peace and as a way to get him to reveal his "number." I'll never divulge my actual number though. I'm not ashamed of it, just don't think men can handle it.

BTW: Not voting in that poll as its none of your business either, OP!! lol.
 
Not judging but shouldn't the poll have 0, 0-5, 5-10 etc? Why does the first one have to be 0-30? Not that it's anyone's business but the poll is skewed towards higher numbers!
 
There is just no need for my man to know. I wouldn't ask him either. We'd both lie in any case lol
 
I have and we're just fine. Been married for 10 years and counting. I didn't learn these skills from just watching porn. IJS
 
Not in precise numbers exactly. When it comes up all he needs to know is I have had lovers that I can count on one hand.
 
I cant :lol: I want to say something so dern bad but it will definitely start some ish... Will give it more thought and come back.

ANYWAY....
NO. And not because of any numbers issue but because my mother and all my friends' mothers say that is none of a man's business. That is never anything you are obligated to talk about unless it has potential medical problems attached to it.
 
nope. my number is outrageously small but still none of his business.

I was thinking that. The first one isn't till 30 but I was thinking it should be
0

1-2
3-5
5-10

and so on. Those with small or no numbers would need to be distinguished from someone with say 9. THe first poll goes 10 or less. I was like:rolleyes:

Uhm...we gotta go way lower. I almost didn't want to vote because 10 is not the same as 1 or 0 gosh darn it. There's nothing wrong with being a lot higher if that's what you want, but it's not a fair measurement with someone with a lot less.

LOL.... I put it that way so people would be comfortable voting... So the 0,1 folks wont be feeling like they dont poop, and the 7,8 folks won't be feeling judged..

To me
0 - 10 = Conservative
10 - 30 = Regular
30 - 100 = Adventurous
100 + = you are out of this world... lol
 
We aren't ashamed of our past as it help develop who we are today so yea we shared although at the time I wished he kept that ish to himself :wallbash: I'm okay now... I know I'm last.
 
I'm grown, not ashamed of my number and have no problem sharing when asked. I don't ask because I've never really wanted to know. It's the men that start acting like little girls after they find out. I've learned my lesson and will proceed to play crazy when asked in the future
 
Not sure why partners need to know this about each other. I don't want to think about my SO other with anyone else. :nono:
