Why Do Guys I Meet Ask Me For Pics?

This is common for me with Caribbean/WI guys. I meet one at a party, exchange numbers, they most likely have my instagram so they have access to pics of me but they still text me asking for a pic? Like why? My IG is public right now...
I don't think they're asking for nudes - if they are then they're stupid :lol:
I guess I don't really mind picking a pretty (clothed) pic of myself and sending it- but I just dont get why they're asking

I can't get used to this social media lifestyle - it's like giving out your IG is like giving your number Lol it's really irritating

If they wanna show their friends the bad chick they bagged and they show them your ig, there's doubt. Did they really meet you? Did you really give them a lil play? Or did he just locate an exotical on ig and invent a relationship? A pic sent directly to his phone bypasses those questions.

Yep met a dude in the bar he was stuck to me all night buying cocktails etc when we were leaving this fool asked to my insta name. I was thru then he only communicated through likes on insta. I blocked him
 
I know what you mean, especially with Caribbean men, and usually I say NO! My pictures are on my social media, and they can refer to those.

They say they want a picture "just for them" and no... in most cases they aren't referring to nudes...

Sometimes I say,send me yours first and they'll send me random pictures....them in their car...them in with their boys etc...so at that point, I'll send them a random work pic...really boring...lol

No, don't do that. That is why guys always ask..because some girls always send them pictures. I don't necessarily think anything is wrong with sending a picture, but for me you have to earn it. Just because you ask, doesn't mean I will comply. Have we gone on a date? Do I know your last name? Have you opened a door for me?

If you are looking for serious dating, those asking for a picture right away have already weeded themselves out. If you are just looking to have fun and not have anything serious, then pic away.

If I like a dude I'll tease him like you gotta work for it he asks what I gotta do I reply I'll let you know once youve earned it
If I just feel like being gassed I'll send my face one to get the empty compliments lol I'm working on my ego

When I was single, a lot of guys I met would ask me to send a picture. I thought it was for this reason too, and I had a cute, non-sexy, no cleavage, no booty showing selfie of mostly my face I would send...and that's ALL they would get.

I would have asked the guys for pictures too, but they tended to think "picture" meant d**k pic, so I just put like a 2-word description behind their contact names lol.

I feel the same away. I'm glad I'm not a teenager in this era. I can't even imagine :nono:. Seems like an utter nightmare and it was bad even in the late 90s/2000's.

I don't get it, if you met them at a party (IRL) why would they need a picture if they already met you? Sound like they are going to forward your pic to their friends
