Every now and again I work my way through the series again :look: (even though I refuse to ever watch the movies and don't consider anything that happened in them to be canon). It's such a girl thing especially with its reemergence recently, but I can't help it, I still love this show to death.

My favorite of them all is Smith. I think he had Samantha had the cutest relationship and he was so sweet! I also think Kim Cattrall and Jason Lewis had a lot of chemistry.

What about you?

My favorite is Aidan Shaw.

But there's others that I love too:

Miranda's Steve Brady
Carrie's Aleksandr Petrovsky
Samantha's Smith Jarett
Miranda's Robert Leeds (Blair Underwood)

I like Aiden but he was such a pushover for Carrie! He was too nice to her, like after they broke up and he was all nicey nice about the ring and the apartment... I'd have been cussing that ho out... lol... I admire someone like that for being the bigger person but couldn't be me.

Don't even get me started on Big. They know in real life there is no damn way Carrie and Big would have ended up together. In my version of the events after the finale, Carrie and Big broke up.

My second favorite is probably Harry.

Yeah, Aidan was too nice for Carrie, but I LOVE nice men! lol He should've done SOMETHING....cussed or something. He took the cheating TOO well.

But i'm gonna have to disagree with you on the outcome of Carrie and Big. I can see that turning out. So many women get dogged by the same man over and over and they still want to marry those men for some reason. The thing is, in real life, the woman never get a ring like Carrie did. He usually just moves on to the next unsuspecting victim. lol

Big - I hate Big! Such a douche, but then again i dont like Carrie

Aiden - Had the BEST personality.. and i hate what Carrie did to him! She didnt deserve him after that but i love Aiden

Berger - Good looking but such a wimp.. lol

Aleksandr Petrovsky - Just.. no.

Trey - Again .. just no.

Harry - I like Harry :) he's a great guy and i love him and Charlotte together

Richard Wright - Ewww

Smith - HOT! And i loved him and Samantha together

Steve - Awww Steve is such a cutie!! I hate what they did to him in the movie! Steve would never cheat on Miranda... ! Ugh

Robert - Again - very hot. Seemed cool but we didnt get to see much of him.

I didn't like ANY of Charolette's men. I even liked Samantha's Lesbian (Maria) more than Charolette's men. lol

I probable will be a minority here but I love Big only.Everybody else was just a fast food meal.Big made Carrie grow in alot of ways.It wasn't always pretty on both of them but he was the only one she would drop everything for.I had my own Big once I def see alot of similarities and changes since that relationship.

I still think Aiden was perfect for Carrie, but she did him wrong....twice
For Samantha it was Smith, he understood her
Miranda-Steve he's a sweetie
Charolette- I like Harry he's the last one you would expect her with, but He loved her to death and I think its supposed to be implied that he taught her what true love was.

Mister BIG was the man, he could be an a-hole at times but at the end of the day he was carrie's great love and she his, despite how much he vacillated. I just adored them together, such spectacular chemistry.

Next I looooved Aiden he was so sweet and kind and perfect, carrie was wrong for how she did him.

Loved Steve what a sweetheart down to earth man. Miranda would give him hell wayyyy too often.

Smith was cute but I could never get into him. The delivery from the actor always fell flat.

Hated Trey with the fire of a thousand suns, and Harry? Ugh.

Aleksandr & Berger were an absolute waste of time for carrie. I still don't know what she saw in them.

I liked Aiden but that's because he was meant to be "that dream guy".
and i like Harry for Charlotte

Yeah, I'm a sucker for Mr. Big than Blair Underwood character.

Big may have been an a-hole alot of the time but when he was ready for her, he went after her with reckless abandon. And you could see there chemistry was undeniable but he did take her for granted.

But if a man leave me at the alter, there's no trying back. That was foul.

The reason why I could never support Big is I wouldn't ever hang around for six years to get the guy to reciprocate his feelings. I guess the moral there is you'll get your happy ending as long as you eat sh8t for however many years it takes for him to decide he likes you.

Yay! A SATC thread! I'm such a stan! lol

I picked Big (or course!). Yes he was a jack@ss but how could u not like Big? He was exciting, he made the show.

I also liked Robert (Blair Underwood)
I liked Alexander's money and taste
I liked Richard Wright's money as well

The one I could not stand the most was Berger. He was such a beeyotch. Aidan was cool and a good guy and all, but just wasn't the right one for Carrie.

Aiden! All by himself :) He'd make the perfect husband. He's cute, tall, humble, ready for commitment & he builds things. Doesn't get any better than that

While it's cute on TV... IRL, having a man like Big isn't all peaches. I live in NYC & I've dated a couple Bigs. I quickly learned that there's nothing cute about a powerful, yet selfish man with commitment issues. Even if you do marry him... it would be far from smooth sailing & it probably wouldn't end well :nono: Ask Natasha :look:

For all the pro Aidan people...but do you really think Carrie would have been happy with him? Or even, him happy with her?

IRL, I'm kind of untraditional and I've tried to force myself to be something else and make it work bc the guy was the "good guy". I was miserable and so was he.
