That's what happened for me, too. When the first episode aired I was sitting there trying to figure out how it fit in with all the other episodes before I realized it was a different show altogether.

I keep getting that in my recommendations so I might catch it next, lol.

Some of the episodes are extremely difficult to watch...just a heads up.

The first episode I watched of Deadly Women was about child abuse so I turned it off. I did binge watch Crimes of the Century and A Crime to Remember.

The first being about more recent trials in history (80's to current) and the last being about crimes in the first half of the century.

I liked it because most of the crimes (or the subsequent detective work) revolved around the female victims' sexuality. Or, the women were the persons of interest because of their race/gender.

yeah, that first episode of Deadly Women I saw was hard to watch. A lot of them are about child abuse. Season 5 of Deadly Women is on Prime video. I started watching last night. I added a few other crime shows they had on there, too.

I'll have to add the ones you mentioned. I think I remember seeing those.

As soon as you said that I made it a point to resume watching. This case is so bizarre. That defense lawyer with the glasses and dark salt and pepper hair is really good.

You could tell some of those witnesses were getting pissed off when he was interrogating them, especially in episode 5 and 6.

ETA: . I'm on episode 6. I was not ready for that male escort's testimony. And this judge is funny. He's like "answer the questions..."
