Dr. Masaru Emoto found that positive words had a positive impact on the crystalline structure of water in his work, "The Message from Water". That same book showed how devastating negative words had on water.

The show MythBusters tried to debunk that talking to plants helps them grow and could not! It was stated that "the greenhouses with the recordings of speech grew better than the control".

My question to you is, what are you saying to your hair? Are you speaking abundance and prosperity? or are you complaining and downing it? Are you magnifying it's brilliance? or are you comparing it to someone elses?

Think about what you've been saying to or about your hair and then tell us what you will say going forward.

As for me, I'll remind my hair that it is growing beautifully. That every day it gets longer and healthier and fuller... and I am so proud.

Now you?! Tell us what you'll say to your hair?

Sheba, I speak blessings and scriptures over my hair. I confess that my hair is my glory ~ that my hair is long, thick, strong all the way down to my butt, that it doesn't break or fall out, in Jesus' name, Amen.

I know the Power of a Positive Confession and I confess God's Word over every aspect of my life. Nothing is too big or small, minute or menial. If it matters to me, it matters to Him, so I confess His Word over my circumstances.

I absolutely agree with you ladies! I'm a big person on positive thing and speaking and claiming anything into existence. My hair's journey is one of them :)

I know that's right, GlamaDiva! Your hair journey is successful. It is already done :yep:

Don't laugh but I say positive affirmations for my hair. I also pray for my hair to grow. I do this every morning. I believe in the power of words and LOA.

Every time I brush my hair or play in it I reaffirm, repeatedly that "I am growing healthy, thick, and strong waistlength hair" I think it's working

Amen!

Our hair is our crown and glory.

I also pray for continued growth, strength, and health for my hair as well as speaking positive affirmations. Words and thoughts are truly powerful! I also believe and practice the LOA.

ita ladies!

i've been praying for my hair by thanking God for it's strong, healthy, fast, beautiful growth since around february/march and i do believe this has incredible power.

i believe in the loa and have a part in my vision book dedicated to my hair, as well.

great thread, Sheba1!

I think it should be a holistic thing. Speak power to your entire being and circumstances not just to hair. You don't gain if you have hair to your knees but your body's messed up and/or the rest of your life is out of control.

Wow..i really need to start doing this. Not with just my hair. I'm a negative person who is trying to convince myself to be positive. I think my words to myself is what is keeping me down. It will take some time...but I will learn to be more positive.

I agree with this too. Since the bible says the hair is the glory of the woman, I thank God for 'my glory' and declear that it is long, strong, healthy and flowing down my back. It definately works. :yep:

Girl, i'm the same way. i've really been trying to be positive and speak health into my entire life. i think my pessimism is why i haven't been as successful in alot of my endeavors.
