Had the Jilbere Ceramic Tools one and loved it - but that was because I didn't know any better. The cheap coating wore off the plates. Just upgraded to the Wigo Tourmaline Tools Ceramic/Titanium and I definitely notice a difference - and I don't think the finish will ever come off of this one. Satisfied for now. I have a Babyliss Pro Tourmaline that I haven't even tried - looks too much like my Ceramic Tools - it's new and unused and off to eBay it goes.

Dogonnit! Everytime I go into these flat iron threads it makes my head spin:drunk:
I'm coping with my cheap Conair one I got at Walmart and marking down the days when I can buy a nice one but now I dont know what to get again.

FHI hands down.

I own an FHI Runway and as a professional it cuts my flatironing time in half and makes the hair so soft and silky straight. I love it!

I am thinking about getting this one. I recently bought the new digital chi nano and it snagged my hair so I returned it. Does this one have any spaces that hair can slip through?

I have Maxiglide and a HAI Convertible. I love them both and use them both. The HAI is only an inch wide and doesn't bend the hair under the best. But, it's perfect for getting the roots straight. The Maxiglide is wider and used for the rest of the hair and to bend the hair under. I voted for the HAI though since no on has yet just to let people know that it's good, too. :)

Haven't used them in a long time. But, they're great to have around for when I need 'em.

so what's been working the best for the natural haired people?

This I wanna know. My head is spinning with all these names. I haven't bought one in years and I want a good one for those times I want my hair straight. Q

i voted other i actually have an flat iron made by rusk. i like it. i found it at tj maxx and i couldnt believe they were selling hair applicances. they had this brand and others and the price was $50 bucks. i came home and check the brand and price online and it was priced over $100. so i got it and i love it. my hair didnt smell cooked and it got my hair straight.

Ok, I want to know who the heck would pick the CHI flat iron over the Sedu? If you did you either:

1. Have never used a Sedu flat iron.
2. Got the CHI for free.
3. Have never used the Sedu and got the CHI for free...lol..

I will definitely be gifting the CHI flat iron; I like the size but that is about it.

For me, my Sedu, hands down. It glides effortlessly through my hair and caresses my tresses ever so gently. I love love love my Sedu.
