I have a Solia and I love it! I would recommend it. I haven't tried any other brand to compare but I have no need.

I'm a big fan of the Solia and several of my friends have purchased one after using mine. I did a comparison of the SOlia and Sedu before and posted the results here. I'll bump it for you.

I have both the solia and the sedu. The solia is the best to me. The sedu gets to hot on the outside plates and I always want to touch it there lol!

I haven't used my Solia (1 1/4in.) in a while, but when I did, I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll use it again in the winter.
