I've been using almond butter for about a month now and I love what it does to my hair, it leaves it really supa dupa soft!

I like Shea butter, I have only tried this one, I put it on damp hair and it makes my hair feel sooo soft, just wondering though is it actually moisturising or does it just coat the hair?

I love shea butter for my hair and skin.

But I also love mango butter for both, and avocado butter for the hair

Can someone tell me where purchase avocado butter in a store not on line ? ( area of Boston ) .
I have a friend who will go the next night in USA .
Thanks .

I voted for shea butter becuase it is the most moisturizing for my texlaxed hair. I can melt it down and use it as a hot oil treatment. Also I use it to some down my hair into a bun. I tried the shealoe and it was just ok. And the cocoa butter seemed to just sit on top of my hair. :ohwell:

I've only used shea butter. I mix it with aloe vera gel, oils, and honey and whip it so it becomes creamy, frosting like. I want to try some othr butters though like avocado and murumuru.

Shea butter mix with some oils melts in my hair when Im twisted up. I havent figured out how to use it in my hair when its fro'd out but will experiment in the future.

From Texas Natural Supply, I Purchased the Following Butters::grin:

TNS Great Shipping, Fast Delivery and Exceptionally Generous Portions.:yep:
They even had a 10% discount Code# TNS10

1) Shea
2) Avacado
3) Olive
4) Macadamia
5) Jojoba
6) Almond
7) Hemp Seed

These should pretty much take me through Fall into Winter.:yep:

i have only ventured out into shea butter..i love it for my thick 4b hair..it lays it down quite nicely when going in for a bun

bump bump

I have to restock my Kokum Butter and Macadamia Nut Oil from TNS next week and I want to try something new:)

I love mixing stuff, so my butters aren't pure. However, my favorite one to use as a base is mango butter. I also like cocoa and shea butters. I have vowed not to buy any hair stuff this month, but next month I will try some pumpkin seed butter.

Changed my mind over the years. Its all about the aloe butter for me know: hair, body and face. I actually don't use any of the other butters anymore.

Uhm... please pardon the stupid questions but what are butters used for? Can they be used on relaxed hair? I only ever hear naturals using it. Can a small amount of it be mixed into conditioners? Thanks in advance. :look:
