What's the ONE (or two) Thing You Wanna do When You Reach Ur main Goal?

Maybe it's go to your class renunion? Maybe it's go out for a night of clubbing when you know your ex will be there? What is the ONE thing you wanna do once you reach your hair goals? No matter how big or small I think we all have those moments we are looking forward to when you reach your length. What are yours?

As petty as this sounds, I want to go back to my hometown and walk the mall when I reach WSL. I know this particular chick (who is always in the mall) who thought the world revolved around her because she had BSL hair. I just wanna see this chick (for 2 secs) and hit her with the " yeah look at me I'm the 'nappy headed' girl who you thought you was above!"I will do anything to see the look on her face.

I'm with you on going back to my hometown, NYC and showing my familly my hair. They thought I was crazy being all in my hair. The last time a lot of them saw me was last year in February and my hair was shoulder length.

Mow I'm APL and slowly but surely creeping to BSL. I pray to reach BSL by June 2007, if I do, I'll go back to NYC and flaunt this hair with the most banging outfit. Even though I'm married now, I know baby daddy will be like erplexed

Mine would be similar...just to say I told you so to all the doubters. But knowin them haters they would probably think I had a weave


I had a similar experience though that I was able to live out...in high school I was over weight in college I lost 85 pounds, my favorite thing was to go to Walmart and the Mall and pretend not to remember or notice my former high school haters. Their mouths always dropped open...all the guys suddenly wanted to holler but I wasn't even interested.

I cant wait until I reach my hair and physical goals. I will be all over the place showing the doubters.

I will keep you all in my prayers that you get to prove the haters wrong.

Well I'm dying for my 10 year high school reunion!!!! I just finished grad school, I am about 10 lbs away from my goal weight and 6 inches away from WL. (I should reach there w/n three years!!!)
I just want to see all of those fools and have the facial expression like yeah- I'm official and my hair is real - call me corny but I still want people to talk about me!!!

The longest my hair has been was almost APL. My hair fell out right after due to poor haircare (bleach and perm in one day...eww) Anyway I used to use super perms...WTH I was ignorant about hair. Now I'm with LHCF its like I consult with this forum before I purchase or make any hasty decisions or even feel discourage. Basically my hair has never been that long and I always wore weave I cant wait until my hair gets to 24 inches (grazing brastrap) I will wear it out and I cant wait to walk into a room and get all the stears like "is that her hair" because you know outside this forum APL is long. I'm tired of buying the hair I want it to be mine!!!!!

Well, I have both a hair and weight goal. I want to lose 10-12 pounds and get my hair to bra strap/mid back length. When that happens, I am getting to the beach in a bikini and taking some sexy picture...just for myself. Then I'll do a bit of shopping. But the more I bun and not use heat and stretch relaxers the more they would criticize me, saying I'm doing this for nothing, and that if my hair wasn't long before it won't be now. So I can't wait to undo that bun and say nothing, just watch their reactions!

I agree 100%. Almost no one supports what I'm doing and get mad because I never wear my hair straight anymore and don't understand why I "hide" my hair. As soon as I reach my goal, I can't imagine what they'll have to say.

I wanna roll up in the gym, with my then MBL hair pulled in a high ponytail, and do squats in front of my ex and which him drool . He always used to make fun of my hair techniques, vitamins, whatever, and talk about how the white girls he dated weren't that into hair and still had long hair. So naturally, I wanna show him just how into hair I am.

When I hit BSL (only a few more months!), I'm gonna roll by the old salon where I used to get my relaxers and weaves done. In the two years that I faithfully went to that salon 1/month, my hair went from shoulder length to chin length!!!!! Its been two years since I've been doing my hair by myself (with the occasional Dominican blowout) and my hair's health has improved dramatically. That'll prove to them that a Black woman doesn't have to be dependent on a salon to get good hair, she just needs good hair education.
