HF37 or Hair Formula37 if you're not familiar with the abbreviation. There are a few threads where you can read about it.

Shampooing and conditioning every 2-3 days has helped alot.......look up the daily washing challenge by Perfectdoak......it's a combination of things....not just products.....de-stressing your life of all negativity will do wonders for your hair too.;)

This board has some great tips....if you have time look through the archives.

Have fun.:)

Not neccessarily any products grew my hair out to where it is now, just simple wash, condition, braids it up and leave it alone. That has really helped me retain a whole lot of length over the past 4 years. And also eating healthy, excersicing and taking essential multivitamins daily helps more than anything.

It's the regimen for me. I do find that certain lines make my hair feel stronger. I do take Calcium (strong hair), B super complex or B 100 and that does help but no gro fast products.

Learning how to care for my hair and using Vitamin supplements (i.e. HF37, MSM); MTG; Surge; deep conditioning and co washes; not using heat.

I think a high protein diet (like the eggs and cheese breakfast I just made), lots of water, multivitamins (B-Complex, Carbsmart w/ Biotin, EPO), and Sulfur 8 give me a good amount of growth. However, my hair, like most of our hair, has always been growing, but since coming to the board I have seen my hair retain length. For me it has been because it is stronger due to MNT weekly deep conditioning and Aphoghee every 6 weeks and it is moisturized (2 x a day). I don't overprocess it anymore (stretch my perms out) and I am gentle with it. Unfortunately, there's no overnight growth solution, (although some things will give your hair a little more push), but just getting to know your hair and what makes it thrive.

Hmm... I don't think it's ever been just the products alone, but some have helped in promoting growth and/or helped me to retain length. Those are:Wild Growth Oil, MTG, and vitamins, along with a good regimen.

What products? Not to sound funny, but none.
What made me retain length is: #1 Taking extra care of it, Drinking plenty of water  , Getting adaquete rest  , High Protein diet, Keeping my scalp and hair cleaner :bath2:, and now I've added Vitamins into the mix. I want to try some products out :sekret: that I've heard make your hair grow.

HF37
WGO
Mane N Tail products
African Pride Magical Growth grease
Nexxus Biotin Creme
Surge

All worked for me at one point or another. I don't use most of them now, but if I ever need a growth spurt, they are my staples.

vo5 conditioners
water
MTG
SURGE 14 Revitalizer
Protective styles

Exercise, a high protein diet (especially adding protein powder to smoothies on a regular basis), and drinking a lot of water help the most for me

Using products that "tingle" on my scalp also seem to help (i.e. Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Special Shampoo, Peppermint Oil, and Rosemary Oil etc...)

Products that contain only herbs / botanical ingredients (Asha's "Roots," etc..)

I'm still waiting to see if products with sulfer in them aid specifically in growth

I have products that have given my hair the extra strength it needed to be healthier. So really good products to fortify my hair and a good regimen has helped my hair tremendously. The products are:

NIOXIN Smoothing Reflectives Silk Elixir [ Leave-in Hair Repair ]
Nexxus Vitatress Biotin Creme
Nexxus Vitatress Biotin Shampoo
JASON All Natural Biotin Shampoo
Ultra Hair Thick Shake
Jojoba Oil
Carrot Oil

-Glover's Dandruff Control Medicine. Couldn't stand the smell, though.
-Sulfur 8. Worked really well, but I don't use very often.
-Allways Super Gro. Use every now and then.
-Biotin and super b-comlex supplements helped a lot with healthy hair and nail growth.
-Daily washing. Most convenient and healthiest for my hair and scalp.

How do you like the Cactus Oil Serum? I've passed it at least 5x in the BSS but never bought it.:ohwell:

MTG, without a doubt. When I go on spurts of not using it, I get almost no growth what so ever. When I do use it, my new growth significantly makes a come back. This is one key product for me, and it will definitely be essiential since I am transitioning.
