What length do you consider long?

Outside of this forum, I think lil bit pass shoulders is long.

In this forum, it looks like you gotta be hitting bra strap to be considered having "real" length. :look:

I say shoulder because I'm not there yet!! (its taking forever) I have no doubt this view will change when I reach shoulder length;)

Shoulder length and beyond...depends on the individual and how their hair looks on them. 12 inches on a 5'11 person is not the same as 12 inches of hair on a person thats 4'11

Between armpit length and BSL is long to me.

Quick question. Some women have described their length as being at their collarbone and said that there next goal is shoulder length. But my collarbone is below the top of my shoulder so can someone explain how collarbone length comes before shoulder length?

I would say long hair is when it comes to your mid back, but SherryLove can you please tell me what in the world are you doing to YOUR HAIR to get it that long. Girl please help me?

I agree that it can depend on the individual and how their hair looks on them. In general, a person's hair starts to look "long" to me (if worn straight) when it hangs about twice the length of their face. Like if you measured from the crown to the chin and got x inches, the length from the crown to the ends would be about 2x. On most people that seems to end up being around APL somewhere.

On me, i'd think my hair was kinda long at shoulder length bc thats the longest my hair has ever been and i'm short (5'1). In general, i think armpit length is long.

It depends on how tall the person is.
On someone my height, I would consider BSL long. On someone shorter, waistlength. Taller, maybe a bit above BSL.

Good point!@ I kinda feel the same way. How tall are you?
