and health of your hair the most? Would you say frequent...

shampooing/washing
exercising
drinking more water
trimming
going natural
air drying
moisture
fewer touch ups
vitamins
protective hair styles? or special products you believe in? Out of all of these things (and you can add to this list if you like) which of these do you think has helped your hair grow the most? For me it's moisture! moisture! and more moisture! as well as fewer touch ups and less manipulation of my hair.

Oh and forgive me if this topic has already been discussed, but I couldn't find it when I did a search.
Thanks ladies!

Even if it was already discussed, it's good to review and see what everyone else is doing.

For me, increased moisture, no heat, air drying, rollersetting, braidout/textured protective styling & definately fewer touch ups.

Oh thank you nita that makes me feel good!!!

Hi, Im new to this board also, I hope im not going too off subject. But what are braid outs? I have an idea, but I could be wrong. Thanx in advance.

Definately drinking a ton of water, as well as trimming less. I always want the latest hair style, so this is the hard part for me.

Thanks ladies! Dahllia a braid out is where your hair is braided (usually cornrowed) then taken down, fluffed with your fingers, and worn crinkly. If you click on some of the pics in the photo gallery I think some of the women have pics with braid outs.

Oh, but it may not be as easy as it sounds. There's a process to make them come out right.

I would just say leaving it alone + vitamins

Oh...well I do that to myself. I'm my own worst enemy (I love to cut my hair) BUT would never have done it to anyone else

Thank you

Well I'd have to put it in this order:

1- Moisturizing like a maniac
2- Protective Hairstyles
3- My crazy a** vitamin regimen
4- Very little heat (My curling iron is now useless to me.)
