What Do You Think Your Hair Will Look Like on December 31,2010?

I would like to be APL and for my hair to be a leeeetle more dense. :) I am really hoping so---My sis says my hair is about 1 inch from APL but that was only the middle part of my hair. Yay!!!
 
i hope to be much fuller and 3-6 inches longer. im not really protective styling though so we'll see.
 
I hope it's either WL or less than an inch from it. I don't know why but i'm sooo ready to reach my goal. Maybe because it seems as if everyone already has except me.:perplexed
 
^^tell me about it. That's why I'm so darn frustrated even though my hair is fuller and healthier. I want my length please.
 
Can you ladies help me figure out what "FULL" sl/apl/bsl... means. Does it mean that your hair is all one length even when you pull your hair back or is it one length all around (picture Cousin It)? What if you have bangs or layers? Does your hair have to be nearly even to qualify?

Here's why I ask, I have layers, but if I have to be even to meet a goal, then I would only be maybe apl with mbl layers. Am I then full apl or mbl b/c Most of my hair is there, or bsl b/c that would be an average of the two lengths?:perplexed Oh I'm just confused at this point. Please help?
 
^^ I think that's what it means but I only count the back of my hair b/c I too have layers and would like to keep it that way..and would probably only be considered sl when I'm apl. It's dumb.
 
When i say "full" i define it as my hair being at least 2 inches past the length that i'm at.

Like I just reached WL....but i want 2-3 more inches past that so i can claim "full" WL...and it would still be a few MORE inches to get to Hip Length.

Well, I've kinda ignored the term "full" for the longest b/c there are too many variables to consider, but when I read a thread and look at pics and some say, "you're full___" and others say "you're not yet", and I think to myself, "I see a V w/ only the tip touching the mark, then IDK anymore. It's not that simple based on pics and comments sometimes.
I would consider Full ___ to mean ALL of the hair all around is at the same length, which is quite possible impossible for some, who knows.

I like your explanation Smiling Elephant.:yep: That makes sense to me. You go by where the majority of hair lies.
 
Great thread! I should be MBL, and 18 months into my transition. I'm like you SmilingElephant and get so excited just thinking how long my hair will be in Dec! Glad to know I'm not the only one. :)
 
SmilingElephant Congrats on becoming wsl!!:lots: I'm claiming thick, healthy wsl hair on 12/31/10.
