No pics, but hopefully my words will suffice...well, actually two words: toe up!
When I came to these boards, a little over a year ago, my hair was in a serious jacked up condition.
I laugh because when I remember the state of my hair, how could I not?
I was suffering from a bad bone-straight relaxer and breakage. My hair was all different lengths. The back of my hair literally looked like some one had cut a chunk out of it. That was then... Nowadays, it's like I don't have to do much and my hair grows.

Here is a picture of my hair from July 1997 after getting my last relaxer. I also had a one-inch trim due to thin ends. I had no idea how to care for my hair!! It would seem to get slightly longer than this, but then I would have to cut it to the length in the picture because of damage. Shortly after this, my former stylist suggested that I stop relaxing my hair and I took her advice. Seven years later, I am natural and I am doing my own hair. Boy, I have come a long way!!
