i'm planning to do a light blow out and wear my hair down for a day, i'm also going try some braid-outs....i may even dye my hair i've been wanting to do this in ages....i would only use hennalucent as its natural. Anyone else doing something different with their hair.

I did a braid-out once and it came out pretty good and I got a lot of compliments so I think this summer I will try to perfect my braidouts, get extensions, and I want to dye my hair again too!!! But I don't think it's strong enough. If so, I'm looking to dye it red.

That's the colour i want RED copycat just joking lol!!! i've never done an intentional braid-out on my hair so it'll be a fun experiement.

Try the crown and glory method, it really helps keep your hair and braids in a healthy condition. heres the site growafrohairlong.com

I'm thinking about getting braids...I'm scared though because I never had success with braids in the past

I'm going to wear my hair natural for the first time. I'm going to try twistouts and braidouts. I'm gonna start taking really good care of my hair and keeping it moisturized because it's very dry. I was thinking about putting a rinse in my hair but I will wait until next summer. Hopefully it will be healthier by then.

Anything that is heat related is out of the question. I'm moving from Hawaii to SC this summer and the humidity in SC is atrocious. I'll probably just twist and braid it up and practice putting in braid extensions. I plan to wear braids in the fall/winter to protect my hair from the cold.

Getting my weave next month and rocking that until July, then hopefully wearing it out a little bit more after I get a relaxer. I'm tired of this bun :ohwell:

I am going to get a relaxer after seven years of being 100% natural..... in late June. I am still doing my research for hairdressers. Anyhoo, I figured with so many events such as graduating and 2 weddings coming up, why not. I feel really 100% confident about my decision and feel as though I will be able to handle my hair after all of the great knowledge and wealth of information I received from alot of the women here.

I will continue to get my hair braided, even for my wedding in August...

Now for Christmas, I'm going to get myself a Silkener from Curves Hair Salon...:)

I live in New Orleans, so not a damn thing. It's too hot to do anything meaningful to it except keep it moisturized and pinned up and hope for growth. I hear that hair grows a little quicker in the summer months, so I'm hoping to get to brastrap by July or so. I think I'll make it.

I am thinking about doing more wash and wear hairstyles. I am going to texturize from now on and want to get used to dealing with a curlier texture.

congrats on your wedding and good luck with your silkener for december!!

LOL:lol: , I think red is gonna be the IT color for us :yep:

I'm hoping to be able to get braids in my hair at least once. I haven't been able to afford the styles that I want because they are so darn expensive. I really wanted to try and get silky locs or yarn braids or some kind of creative extensions, but I don't know if I will have the money for it. If I don't, I'll probably wear twists and twistouts or try to get my sisters to do some plain old box braids in my hair.

BRAIDS BABY !!!!!!!!!!!.............. :orders: BRAIDS BACK TO BACK TIL AUGUST ! :yay: :yay: :yay: DOING THE CROWN & GLORY METHOD AGAIN !
I also will keep taking the GNC Ultranourishhair, this stuff is helping my growth rate too  :yep:

I am going to get a wet & wavy hair weave (sew-in) for the summer, probably bra strap length and in a nice light summer color. :yay: :yay: Hopefully I can keep up a good regiment to maintain my hairs health underneath.

I plan on wearing a cornrow bun throughout the whole summer come June!! I don't want to have to deal with my hair, and I also want to maximize my growth! :)

I plan on cutting it in june. It will be my one year anniversary for my last relaxer and 3-4 mos since my BC. I want to document how much growth I actually get in a year before I cut it some.

Other than that just experimenting with new products and figuring out how to wear my hair other than a headband and puff/wash n go. :)
