Water challenge for healthier and longer hair

Ladies, I was watching the news this morning and they mentioned the fact that drinking water isn't what keeps you hydrated, you have to make sure you're eating healthy and getting your Omega-3 Fatty Acids so that your body can be hydrated. Drinking fluids just makes you pee a lot. So the ladies that take fish oil or flax seed oil or any other source of these Omega-3's keep it up, and if you're not already then I recommend it. I take fish oil and I eat rich foods regularly. Great for the skin, and now it's great to learn that it's the root of proper hydration.

Let's keep each other healthy and hydrated! It's very important during winter.
Here's also some interesting myths. I'm still going to continue drinking lots and lots of fluids, but I suppose these myths remind me not to do so with expectations that are not rooted in anything real.

Well, today was my 1st day in the challenge. I drank about 32 oz. I'll slowly try to increase it to 56oz. daily, God willing.
 
Please count me in on this challenge. So far today I've drank 32oz very proud of myself.....normal I don't get in 32ozs in a week.
 
Made it! I'm not sure exactly how much more than 56 oz. I drank because I take little sips throughout the day from different bottles.
 
Like I said keep at it. Is this better than what you use to drink before joining the challenge?

Thanks for asking. But , sadly, no:nono: I had gotten to 64oz a day then slacked before the New Year:perplexed But so far today, I have drunk 52 oz H20 & 18oz herbal tea :fat: I plan on drinking at least 1 more cup of tea & 1 more glass of water today:yep:

ETA: Drank another 20oz of H2O & 1 more 8oz cup of tea so total 72oz H2O & 26 oz herbal tea

Just popping in with an update on how I;ve been doing. Most days I've been able to consume 56 ozs and on other days sometimes just about 32 oz. So far for the morning I've had 16 ozs and by tonight I should have drank the 40 extra
 
I just was not into it today and only got a little over half my gallon. I think I'm getting a cold and slept most of the day...and I know getting sick means I should really stay up on my full gallon/day. although I'll keep drinking before I go back to bed, I will do better tomorrow.

Summer I hope you feel better soon. I got my gallon in today, I hope I can keep it up, it's hard though, thats why I just usually stay between 80oz, but since I'm exercising more I need more water.
 
Just finished my 64oz. About to have some dieters tea (6oz). Tomorrow's goal is at least 80oz since it's a workout day.

I began the day with grapefruit juice and it went downhill after that. I didn't drink ANY water today. God willing, I will do better tomorrow.

I started mine with grapefruit juice too!! I am obsessed with this new citrus juicer of mine. Wish someone would have told me how delicious fresh squeezed grapefruit juice was!!

I am failing miserably at getting to 64oz a day but the good news is I don't drink soda like I use to. I have now gone days without a sip. THIS IS HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!! :yep:
