V-Day is on the way. What are you doing?

*sigh* my SO is 300miles away so a thrusday is not an idea time to travel.:nono: If funds are right I will go down to visit, if not I'll try to find something he'd like to have it delivered to his office.:lick:

I like V day...unfortunately I'll be a single woman this year. My relationship ended and I'll be on my own in two weeks. Checking for next year and many more...

Aw, that's too bad. I remember reading one of your recent posts about being engaged. Anyway, Valentine's Day is blah to me...I'm not doing anything special.

I am always single on Valentines Day. My birthday is the day before so i get to count the years single... THis year, it will be 24 years,( yes I turn 24 this year). I have night class that day so i may treat myself to a nice lunch and give my son something good to to take to school. Other than that nothing really.

Crying into a pint of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough?

No seriously, with an exception or two, most of my girlfriends are still single, so I'm sure I'll be having anti-Valentine's Day with them.

:lachen::lachen::lachen::lachen:There is a thought, or sobbing with my friend Jack Daniel?

Hey DTD, it's not official yet. He won't let me leave, we're still working out the negotiations, so we'll see.

I said a few years ago that if I am alone on V-Day (which is a tradition lol) I will make sure to have a good time anyway!

So, this year I'm spending it with a group of my single girlfriends. We're going to go out to dinner. This guy asked me to be his Valentine, I haven't given him an answer, but if I say yes we'll probably do something on the weekend. My girlfriends are more important! :yep:

Probably just dinner n a movie. We're going to atlantic city the following weekend. I don't know what he's getting me, but i'm making him a photobook.

I'll be partying with some friends on that day. I'm single, but I think my best guy friend//bootycall is going to be my Valentine. Heh heh.

I'm married, and have been married for 10 years, but I have grown to hate Valentine's Day. Seems like whether we have money or not, my hubby always comes up with a reason why he didn't get me anything. "Oh I didn't know how much money we had in the bank..." Like, dude, a thought is friggin FREE. He could rub me down in some hot butter for just under 2 bucks and I would love it, man. But NAWWWWWW......we got to be some BALLERS to enjoy V-Day. WHATEVA. BAH HUMBUG. :wallbash::swearing::wallbash:

Ok I feel better now.

hmmm...my man mentioned the other day that he was taking me to some restaurant.

i hope this dude isn't out of town for Black history month engagements 'cause I will not be too happy. it will be our first V-day.

We are trying to keep things romantic of courrse, maybe watch some of our favorite movies and go out to dinner. We normally go out of town for the weekend but this year we are staying home :(

Not quite sure yet. :ohwell: I went all out for New Year's, so V-Day may just be about a card and a small gift. But, V-Day is also our anniversary...so, I just don't know. :perplexed
