Only three?!!! This is so NOT fair!

1. Everythang ain't for everybody! Do what works for YOUR hair.

2. Do not go to bed without protecting your head!!!

3. Consistency: Drinking water, vitamins, scalp massages, washing regimens

This is my biggest problem--so hard for me to stay consistent w/ anything. Gotta try harder.

My top 3
1: protective styling
2: co-washes 2-3 times a week
3: moisturizing my hair properly (water-based treatment + sealing w/ oil)

I've gotta thank Sistaslick for this info. I stalked her album(:lachen: ), and started this regimen after doing so. My hair is thriving as a result.

Thanx sistaslick!

1. $4 bottle of gel does the same thing as a $40 bottle of Curly Pudding.

This is hard, because I went from relaxed to natural on this board. So I have tons for relaxed but few for the natural just I am jsut starting this journey.

1. Condition washes. Instead of pilling on creams for moisture I just wet and condition. It also helps bring my fro out.

I don't know if they have helped to be truth, but I LOVE THEM. I also finger comb, and comb through once every like 1 to 2 weeks with my jibere shower comb. Life saver.

2.Learning not to treat my nappy hair like my relaxed hair.

Even now I think sometimes a comb should be able to go through my hair easily..even while wet. BUT this is just not the case for MY nappy hair.

3. Protect the hair from things that want to snagg it. Like your pillow, wool sweaters and jackets.

For me I would have to say:

3) Stay away from the brushes (still working on this)
2) Deep condition at least once bi-weekly
1) Use cool water for an itchy scalp (this has helped for my CO daily washes) - Read this in a magazine
