I'm a very small-framed 4'11" and my layered waist length hair looks great on me and I get alot of compliments. My ultimate goal is hip length but I'm reconsidering because I really like my hair at its current length.

I guess maybe certain styles might be overwhelming especially when frizz is a factor but I voted NO.

I think Traycee is a great example, she's sooooo short and her long hair is just fabulous!
Also DSylla (*Happily Me*) very short with massive glorious hair!

Wow, that must have been one terrible weave! I'm glad you saw a curvy woman look good with long hair. I remember a thread floatin around here not long ago about big women not looking right with long hair, so this is reassuring.

i find this funny because the first couple of big women i've ever met in my life ( i was around 7,8 and everyone i my family is fairly slim) all had long hair. I even came to the conclusion that gaining weight would give you longer hair as well. I used to see other women like "why isn't your hair long, aren't you a size 14?"
