I like my hair longer, but since it is natural, it is getting harder to comb. But I just have to learn how to handle it. Plus the time it takes to get to the length.
I rode in the elevator with a woman with BEEEAUTIFUL hair. It was in a bun. An immaculate bun. Dark auburn color that complimented her complexion very nicely. I complimented her bun and she said that her hair is waist length. She said ... in a "kind of complaining way" that it's so long now that the only thing she can do is wear it down or in a bun.
Pooooor baby...
I understood her grief but also could have bopped her over the head for complaining about that beautiful hair that so many would kill for.
1. Shedding is 10 times more gross with longer hair. Ugh!
2. Breakage is nasty and scary, considering you think you may be losing your hair.
3. The stuff gets caught underneath your purse and backpack and it hurts!
4. When it hangs on your back and you're sitting down, and your back snags it.
5. When it's long, and uneven, and all of it can't stay neatly in a single ponytail without some pieces breaking free.
