either way, i am done altering who i am at my core in order to please some dude whose self esteem can't handle me.

to answer the question, no i will not be buying the book. i would rather use the money at the redbox and buying cookies for a nice quiet evening alone

Hard to believe!!! I've never been to D.C. but it was my impression that D.C. had a lot of enterprising, educated, middle class black men pursuing careers in law, business and politics. What the hell happened? Did these men decide that suasages were better than grits for breakfast???

Girl, where you been? That's the D.C. of OLD. Welcome to the 21st century. They are a mess in ATL and DC. That stuff you are talking about is mere folklore in DC today.

Personally, I'm kind of sick of "Relationship books" right about now.

And this one is just plain stupid! Even the title is dumb. I even prefer Steve Harvey's book "Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man" better than this title.

I would skim it just out of curiousity, but to actually BUY it?? Nahhhh... no thanks.

a good friend of mines is openly gay. u should see the "look" these men give him when we go out for lunch. and the sad part is, if you didn't know my friend, you would NEVER suspect that he was gay. only if he told you. Fine brotha too. but it's a look that only THEY recognize. very sad.
