I'm sorry you were so hurt, SG. I hope you'll reconsider and stick around. The ignore function shall set you free. You can always lock your fotki.
 
I really hope you are still around to read these posts. Just like in real life you can't let people's opinions get to you. At least this board has a way to block people's ignorant posts. Some of these hair boards out there don't.

Even if you don't post, just lurk for a while. This board is too valuable and funny at times (especially the entertainment section) not to read the information once a day.

you don't have to put up with things like this in your life. if you go they don't win, you do. People on here always say they will cut friends in their lives off if they are not on the same level. People on here my not be on your level and you can cut this out of your life.

Please don't let jealous people run your life. Take it as a sign that your hair is gorgeous and they hate U for it. I was inspired by you and your hair many times over. We hate to lose U because someone is spitting haterade!:mad:
 
Nothing but pure hateration. Who gives a crap, your hair is gorgeous. I love your hair and I admire the way that you transitioned for a LOOONG time. It's an inspiration for me. Please don't leave.
 
Don't go because of what other people think, you can't let them dictate your life. The only opinion that really matters is YOURS. Tell them to jump out your *** and get a life.

Your hair is gorgeous and those people are probably talking smack b/c they cant get their hair to look as good as yours. Don't pay them no mind, just realize that some people suck and move on.

Aww!! Don't let the ignorant and mean spirited comments of a few rob you of something that you enjoy. Sometimes the anonomity of cyberspace brings out the worst in people. Just make the haters even madder as they watch you lovely natural hair flourish. Besides, you don't know them anyway so they really don't count.
 
Don't go. No matter what there is always going to be someone somewhere who is jealous. Don't let them get the best of you by leaving. All of these replies show that there are people who believe you and care about what you're going through.

You have to consider the source from which these comments are being made from. Your hair is beautiful. I am one of those women who have to pay to make my hair look like what yours does naturally.

Silver, now you know you have withstood much worse than this.

I would suggest turning off your PM capabilities and putting a password on your Fotki... or maybe disabling comments to be posted at your Fotki.

You know what your hair has in it and what doesn't. Don't let people drive you away from the Hair forum.

What is truly amazing to me is that people still have not figured out hair ranges in texture! But it also depends on what products and techniques you use and the general condition of your hair. Personally, my hair looks way more mositurized and curlier when I no-poo. Right after a shampoo the fro is in full affect.

Additionally, I know many people with hair like yours, and they were not getting texturizers from pre-school to adult hood.

Girl, your hair is beautiful! and I was thinking about getting a hair cut similar to yours. It looks good straight and curly.

If you leave, they win! Because they will proclaim you only left because they outed you. People need to grow the flim flam up seriously!
 
Please don't leave because of a few haters. I know it gets hard to deal with after a while, but some of us truly enjoy the contributions you make to the board.

I'm going to miss seeing your updates and pics of your adorable daughter

This is so irritating! I can testify to what a great stylist can do to natural hair without chemicals. Especially in the ATL. I have seen turbans full of "4B" hair come out silky straight without damage!

disclaimer-I dislike using hair types but sometimes it's useful to give a general description.
 
I can't believe people are sending you PM's accusing you of having a texturizer!!!!! That is so ridiculous. Like everyone else said you really shouldn't leave because of those people. I was so excited when you cut off the relaxed ends and I love looking at your pics in your siggy. IA with Blossom...cut off the PM's and put a lock and key on your fotki. Hopefully you will feel better and reconsider.

I'm not sure if they're hating on your hair, perhaps they are hating on you specifically.

Since there are many other people on the board that have hair just like you.

I'm truely disappointed to know that this has happened to you. Please don't leave because of others, you have been a true inspiration to those of us who have been transitioning. :)
