People like that are called "haters." Unfortunately, the "good hair/bad hair" thing runs deep and makes some people say mean things about your hair because they're jealous of your texture.

ETA: I saw the Anonymous 'texturizer' comment in SG's album. Apparently the retard didn't bother to look at her transitioning pics before pulling their fingers out of their butt and typing. Janky, just janky!

its so impossible to believe that maybe, god created hair that can lay flat when its wet, and curls when dry??? seriously take 4a hair,. its has smallish curls that when texturizer become wavy and thiner, due to the curl pattern. now those ppl are emulating the look of 3c hair.

so why is it so hard to understand that 3c hair would naturally have those charateristics are well???

and im tired of having to explain to ppl, that YES, THIS IS my natural texture!

im tired of natural headed ppl telling me . im not really natural, or that my opinion is worth jack because im not a true nappie.

im tired of relaxed heads telling me , that i must have used a chemical to get my hair "like that".

I wouldn't worry about it because I've received numerous pms from people asking and stating that my hair must be permed and that it was too straight when flat ironed to be natural. There were harsh comments as well as sincere comments but I didn't worry about it. To me, jealousy is the sincerest form of flattery so I don't why Silvergirl let herself get worked up about haters unless its that time of month. :ohwell: Just my two cents!
 
I know that things like this can really be bothersome but don't give in to it. Your are a beautiful girl and your hair is slammin'. Just keep your head up and stay strong.
 
lol...who ever was making thoes comments are as dumb as rock!! We as people of color have hair and skin color that has infinite range....I wouldnt let those comments bother me ..F*** em!...Dont give them that power

I do remember you making this complaint before in the past and I think you have to do whats best for you. No one should have to get hair hate mail! Even that sounds retarted!

I do wish you the best and I you will truly be missed. If you keep your album up I'll be back by to stare in awe at your NATURAL HAIR! :)

Silver, you are such a huge inspiration to myself and many others on this board. I have no doubt about what you say your hair is, and I'm sure the ladies here don't doubt you either! I say to he** with the haters. Sister keep ya head up, and keep swinging that hair. We love you.

2) It definitley doesn't look texturized...clearly those naysayers didn't look at the pics of you transitioning.

Sometimes I still get amazed at how people make TRIVIAL things their business. So what if SG's hair is texturized...you are not God so therefore she doesn't have to answer to you or anybody else. Leave it alone and get off the ignorant juice...especially if you are trying to say that no black woman can have hair her texture.
