felic1, girl it's REAL!!! every single time I had a heat related setback I knew it was going to happen and ignored the feeling. I was standing in that bathroom looking at the flat iron like, "You will NOT claim my curls!"
No. Do everything you can to protect them.
One thing though, I will be getting a DB and a trim before the end of this challenge. I'm moving out West soon where there are no Dominican salons and those ladies are the only ones who can cut and treat my hair the way it needs. If by some freak mistake they chop too much or give me heat damage, so be it.
