Spinoff - Who has NEVER been in love?

I was watching "The Holiday" with Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz and something Kate's character said got me thinking. Does unreciprocated i.e. unrequited love count as being "in love?"

My first reaction is no because it's one-sided. Opinions?

To me, it doesn't count - "in love" means both parties being in love with each other.

I thought I was with one guy....ughhh..

My daughters father, I am not sure, even to this day, thinking in retrospect. which is scary since we have a child, regardless, I am in love with her.

Hopefully one day I will be in love...In lust tricks me alot, after awhile it fades and the real emerges.
