Hmmm, even though half of the women who answered the poll are not with white men, if you add up the percentages of the ones with nonblack males, they are almost as much as the percentage of women who are with black men. So if this poll is representative of the forum, then there are almost as many women on here whose SO's/DH's are not black as there are women who are with black men. I'm really surprised.

Good or bad surprise? I think its great that black women are FINALLY not waiting on a fellow black man to make her happy. If you find a black man worthy, that's grand but(those against IRs) to deprive yourself of a great relationship/love so as not to seem like a traitor is so sad
Black men do it all the time, dont know why some black women feel like they have to justify anything. If you find love with whomever, accept it! :)

My 'current' SO is black american. Not sure how much longer he'll be current though. lol Maybe I'll find someone from the Caribbean next, or at least someone open to try things in my culture. I can't stand that he doesn't get my culture, and doesn't even try.

Hmmm... that "not trying" thing is a problem.

I just realized this thread is 4 years old. Maybe I should do a 2009 edition, with more precise categories. Got alot of complaints about that.:look:

My surprise was neither good nor bad. I just wasn't expecting those results given the fact that most of the black women I see on a day to day basis are with black men. That's all. I don't have anything against interracial relationships. I'm just noticing that there are more black women in IRs than I thought.

I cant vote because I'm single.

Ex boyfriends are not even relevant (to me)

I'm an avid and experienced global dater lol. I am british with caribbean roots.

The females in my family believe my FH will be non-black
