So I went to see Raheem Devaughn perform last night for the second time. So Raheem starts walking through the crowd and makes his way over to our table. He gets to me and proceeds to caress my arm and shoulders, stands over me (I'm seated in a chair), eye to eye as he sings the "whoo whoo whoooos" to me, and then....it happened....



THIS FOOL TRIED TO RUN HIS FINGERS THROUGH MY HAIR!?!?!?

Exactly...imagine that, lol.

Completely killed the moment, Ha!!!

Ladies, it was hilarious, lol, and I did have a great time. There's nothing like live music and even better small, intimate venue. NYC is one of the best places to experience it, ESPECIALLY this time of the year (I've already got 4 events on my calendar coming up). It was ironic because the first RD show I went to late last year....I was the one who molested his hair, lol. Believe me when I say I'm really one of the most reserved people ever, but I couldn't help it, you know with the hair fetish I got and all, lol...He was laying on the stage right in front of me and his cornrows were just too neat and funky for me not to run my fingers through them! (Hey, it got him to sing to me then too )

LOL, yeah, but it wasn't that anyone noticed....I just felt it! Plus in my mind I was like "I know this cat didn't just jack up my hair?!?! LOL!"

He's just now getting frequent mainstream airplay with his single "You", although his album, The Love Experience, has been out about or a little over a year now.
