Subject: Subject: I'm Missing My Queen

Dear Steve and Shirley, I met the most beautiful lady in the world with a very respectable 11 year old son. Problem is I've messed up twice. First time I messed up is when I found out how much she makes annually (she's an Auditor for the government) compared to my annual salary (I'm a manager at UPS). I felt like a loser and I stop calling her. She kept calling me asking me what is going on. I was too ashamed to tell her the reason. Finally one day she came to my house demanding answers as to why I stop calling her and throwing away the seven months we've been dating. I told her the truth, why did I do that? She sat me down and explained to me just because she makes more money than me doesn't mean she's going to treat me less than a man. She explained to me she worked hard for her Master's degree and deserve every dime she makes and if I'm not willing to accept and be happy that she's a successful single black woman, than I need to step. I felt like a complete butt hole. She forgave me but she didn't make it easy for me. I forgot to mention she told me up front what she will and won't tolerate in a man(I was shocked to hear a woman knowing exactly what she will and want go for in a relationship). Second time was when my 10 year old son told his mother that he was going on vacation with me and his stepmother and his step brother. His mother came to my house unannounced, just so happen my queen was there, my ex started cursing and yelling, asking me why our her son calling another woman mom. My queen politely asked my ex to come inside so we all can talk as adults. My queen explain to her that our son came to her and ask if he can called her mom and she told him yes as long as he's comfortable. She explained to my ex that she's not trying to replace her but my ex wasn't hearing what she was saying. My ex had the nerve to slap my queen, what I didn't know was my queen has a black belt in karate, next thing I know this 5'3" and 130lb lady beat the heck out of my ex. I'm not going to lie I was scared as heck. She was throwing blows like she was Laila Ali. Finally I broke up the fight and my queen left but before she left reminded of what she told me in the beginning and that was she doesn't deal with foolishness and not to call her every again. It's been two weeks and I'm missing her so bad. What can I do to win her heart again? I'm Missing My Queen

We listened to the show on the way to work, too, and my husband and I cracked up when we heard how his "Queen" knew karate and sprang it on the ex. Especially when Shirley Strawberry added in the sound effects "Hiiiii-yah!"

Shirley and Steve recormmended that he try to win his "Queen" back. Steve said, "Good luck. There's a lot of brothers out there looking for her!" He's right.
