Shoulder/Armpit Challenge- 2005

i dont know about me....its gonna be tough. the sides and back of my hair are already at armpit, but the top only comes to my shoulders (barely) i cant figure out how to get that area to grow

I'm at armpit in the back anyway... despite my confusion of reaching the top of my brastrap hence this thread

Just checking in.. i joined this challenge right before i went to Belize for 3 weeks, i'd also chopped off an inch prior to the trip- I'm guessing that it was the combination of extreme heat , drinking lots of water, surging, Salerm-ing, mtg, & the baggie method that left my hair healthier, softer, shinier, and more manageable. I've also gained about 2 inches!! .. now i'd say that im about 2 1/2 inches from arm pit length, My only hope is that i can keep this up when school starts next week- college is when i seemed to neglect my hair the most ..Atleast now i have a challenge to keep me focused!! Keep up the good work ladies, you all inspire me :Rose:

Girl, sometimes it's actually to your benefit to forget about your hair and let it be....might actually let you come away with two more plus inches by the end of the year!

Yes add me in. I dont know how far, but i dotn think i have too long. I think by end of this year the back will be close/at arimpit length. Even if that means one side of it reaches there first i dont care as long as something is there and its mine. LOL

Most of my hair is just past my shoulders and I know I won't make it to armpit by the end of the year. I'm trying to get my short areas to shoulder length first.

I should be on a 2006 challenge. I want all of my hair to be there by Dec. 06 so I can feel most comfortable wearing it down.

We've now entered September 2005.....Month 9.....

As the weather is changing soon....will be time to get into moisture mode as we start to head toward the cooler months (in the non-warm regions).

Hope everybody is doing well as we inch (get it?) towards our goals!

I believe you can make it to shoulder length by December!! ou are progressing very rapidly it looks good!

I just had my hair relaxed after 8 months. My hair has grown so much and its very healthy it grew about 3-4 inches I will post pics very soon of before and after pics I can actually say I am past shoulder length now. Now I am going for armpit length and afterwards maybe brastrap length in 2006. thanx for all your help girls and happy hair health and growth. pics soon

I'm 8 weeks post, had to get a blowout for wedding I'm in, I think I'm getting close to shoulder length??? I'll know for sure when I get a relaxer in a lil over a week

I am updating....

Things are going good... Just trying to maintain the hair I have and now that the weather is turning cooler... I may have to up the moisturizer... and apply it more through out the day... I am still using the same regimen and things are going good... I wear protective styles 5 days a week... I hope to be near APL for the Christmas Holiday...
