If another person asks my if/why I cut my hair :gunner7: I am going to snap!!!
People know how seriously you take care of your hair. It's longer than average. They see all those products in the bathroom when they come over to your house... why would they even broach the subject?! I didn't ask you, "Hey! I see you gained another 30 lbs!" or "Why did you go from a size 10 to a size 14?" Would you GTFOH??!!!??

See this is way I have shut up about my hair to people other than LHCF. I had someone ask me once, when is my hair going to hurry up and grow.

Just keep your hair in a PS around certain people always have a hair clip in your purse ready go!

I have had some days where my hair looked short and I have had people ask if I cut my hair. Sometimes I say yes, sometimes I say no.

I use to get it a lot right after I would get a relaxer. I always thought it was funny that my hair looked shorter after it was straightened chemically.

Hang in there but a good way to shut them up....say....because I wanted too. End of discussion. If they continue on, say -- can you please be supportive of my decision. Again, end of discussion.

Give them the blank stare. Everyone always feels awkward and drops the convo after about 6 seconds of you staring at them.

Oh and I feel you girlie. I wear PS to protect my hair from other ppl lol. Seriously! Someone is always putting their hands on my hair, kids AND adults

Don't fret... Same here..

Last year I big chopped and people was like WTH did you do to your hair

I didn't want to go into the story about my hair shedding non stop after low ferritin/iron levels and how internal things can wreck havok your outter, so I said it was a new year and new beginning . Most were still looking at me like are your serious . I wore braids until I was able to make a bun and been wearing a bun since. My hair is back healthy again but people that haven't seen me in a while still say I can't believe you cut your hair erplexed

Same thing happened to me a while back. I grew out a short pixie cut to SL hair (I know, not long, to my family, I had it going on) - then I let some silly stylist cut it back to NL. Lawd, if one more person asked me why I cut my hair, I was about to cuss someone out.

Then a couple of years later I was at APL and they are the same ones callin' me Repunzel....I'm like, whatever man.
