Whisper "bleep boop" to yourself when you're sad.
My hubby is very distraught that I want to buy a 125 dollar flat iron. I explained to him that it's the "best flat iron in the world" and that all flat irons aren't created equal. But he's still not havin it. So I figure if you all post your before and after pics (with testimonials :)) he'll agree to let me get it. Well, okay, I'll give him puppy dog eyes, too ;) So please bring on the pics and raves so I can get my Sedu!!!

I am sure you can figure out which photo is before:)

One photo is a curly style acheived using my sedu. The other is a straight style 12 weeks post with 4B hair-Texlaxed.

I got mine used for about $50. I love the temperature control :)

I love the sedu, but Honestly I don't think it is worth $150. I think the key thing to look for is temperature control and a smooth plate surface. Good Luck!!

Thanks for posting! Your hair is so shiny, did you put anything in it?

I washed deep conditioned and put some Nexxus heat protectant on it and let it air dry. I flat ironed and used about a quarter size amount of Aveda Anti Humectant pomeade. Sometimes I use Frizz Eaze hair serum after I flat iron for shine.

I have a Sedu and I'll post some pictures for you. The ones in my signature are flat ironed with the Sedu, but they aren't the best. I let my hair get wet a few times after flat ironing, so my hair is not as straight as it could be.

I have a Sedu and I prefer it on relaxed hair. It does nothing for my natural hair.

I don’t have a specific before and after but my natural hair is in my av and my sedu hair is in my siggy, so this is like a before and after photo?

It works very nicely J

Thank you ladies, you all look great! Keep em comin! :D

I have a photo in my fotki of me starting to flat iron my hair with a Sedu. I've been itching to try the Maxiglide :look:

My husband gave me a 1" sedu flat iron for Valentine. I tried it out the following weekend and it made my hair nice and straight. For me, I prefer to use my 2" T3 curling iron. For one reason because it gives me more curl and I can use the back of it to press my ng. I could not get as close to my ng with the flat iron. As of right now I'm having a friend try it tomorrow since she's into flat ironing. If she does not like it, I will be sending it back. I paid $118 for it. My T3 was $149.

*ahem*:look:

If it's an issue of price you can get a FHI 207 RVI for anywhere from 70-85 dollars online, and FHI's are FABULOUS!

I love my Sedu, I have had mine 3 years in July.

I purchased the Sedu a few weeks ago and I was not impressed. My chi worked much better. Needless to say, I will be returning the Sedu and trying the FHI.

I want to try this one yet. What is the link that sells the irons. I should have bookmarked it. I know it starts with a F.:look:

Letitia I believe it is www.folica.com and I agree Sedu is a very good flat iron but I also would like to try Solia or FHI :perplexed .

Sedu is the best, hands down. I have pics posted in a thread somewhere. I'll see if I can find it.
