I took down my original post because I'm not one to be apart of any problems nor contribute to any. Having it up seem to be getting people HEATED. That's the last thing I want. Furthermore, some of these sista's got me feel like I need to throw dem bows, got a sistah all pint up in a corner because I said something.   My blood pressure rising and such....:lachen:

It's bad enough that I live in Italy and have to deal with the mafia! :)

Girl, the LHCF mafia ain't no joke...as you can see. We automatically have each others backs...usually. :look:

And as for you causing problems...you haven't SEEN problems! This thread is tame compared to some of the others that have blown up in the past. KABOOM! :lachen:

You have no need to feel bad about any of this, people agree and disagree with how things were handled, but you know what?

It's no big deal. The issue has been resolved. And the child in your siggy is so cute!

You may want to ask an administrator to have the thread locked.

It's ok sweetie, I know. You have every right to complain. I said that to explain everybody elses' behavior, not yours. :wink2: I totally get what you're saying and why you said it.

ETA: Jen was before my time. She's ain't my family, but I do think she's got awesome hair. You are in "my time" and if somebody said something I didn't like about you ... I'd like  OH H**L NawL! :)

LOL :lachen: That should be the new LHCF line "OH H**L NawL" LOL :lachen:

Thank you. I got ya back too sareca! :bud:

It is that I had the issue. If I never would have posted in the fashion I did, it wouldn't have been a problem.

I wasn't looking to get resolution from this forum, I was wondering if others ran into the same problem.

I wasn't going to go here but my buttons I feel as though I am being tested...

Jen or whoever, roundhairbrush.com should advertise accurately. If the product doesn't have mink oil in it then say so. I talked to Jen and she is a nice person, I'm sure this was a mistake in updating the website to reflect accurate ingredients and I wasn't mad either. Did I express my frustration on the phone with her like anyother customer would? Yes I did. Am I wrong, I don't think so. Issue's like this happen all the time and owners are well trained (or should be rather) to handled meticulous customers such as myself. If it was my own sister to owned roundbrushhair and I ordered, I would react the same way.

And for the record I did call the sales office a few times prior to calling again and finally speaking to the customer service rep (who happen to be Jen). So, my reaction wasn't a knee jerk one.

You guys I am a very nice person really...:)

I still can't believe things got to this point. You had every right to vent if you wanted. There are too many posts with people doing the same thing, without getting their asses kicked. Hey, business is business.
Humph...this is leaving a very bad taste in my mouth.

Lately, people have been getting told off over this ENTIRE message board  Is it that time of the month for the ENTIRE board!!? Calm The Hell Down

She learned her lesson and has been so sweet in her responses. She thought she could vent, yes she should have called the company first but she didn't. And many of us have purchased things only to feel hoodwinked later and didn't want to call nobody and try to work it out, we just wanted to b_tch :yep: :yep: . No it may not be right but DANG, we already ran one person off last night, just CALM THE HELL DOWN, please  and don't try to turn on me either  I know how you bytches are:lol::lachen: :look:

no, it's actually been mentioned withing the last 6 months or so. I will try and see if I can find the threads. I think that Mona Lisa was the first person to bring it to the boards attention a while.

All I can say is, good lookin' out Mo because as soon as I heard, I went out and copped every bottle with Mink oil that I could find. I managed to find around 13. For me, there was a noticible difference in my hair when I used the one without it:(

Well darnit!! This PJ is about to have a relaspe...back to the Dominican shop! Didn't know about that...Thanks!:)

Very well said Country Gal.

We have become defensive because we know Jen and we know she would have taken care of the issue or explained to you why this occured with the product. Jen is very professional and has no problems talking to you about your hair and products.

It is not that you had an issue. It is how you went about taking care of that issue.

Everyone is entittled to their opinion but be prepared that some folks will disagree while others will disagree strongly.

The title alone to me was strone. Thanks, princess.

My bad about the lil attitude I got KecLee.:look:

I really like Jennifer, and my souljah came out an typed that message. You're right, it wasn't that serious.

Okay ya'll so I used the Lacio Lacio today. Prepooed, Wash, Con'd as usual. Then did my rollerset, I applied a dime size or so (maybe a little more ;) ) to may hair while wet and being to set my rollers. I air dried and then the remainder 20 or so minutes was under the dryer.

At first I was like hmmm, something not right. Well after (and I didn't post ladies....) about 30 minutes or so marinating at the look and feel...I actually think it's a keeper. I used the big JUMBO JUMBO JUMBO grey rollers which made my curl more relaxed than usual, but I actually like it. My hair feels WELL moisturized, which is good considering I am 10 weeks post relax and I could still rollerset and run my finger though my hair.

Not bad

I think I will use this for when I'm like post 8 weeks because it is very moisturizing, but yet light.

Pictures are in my fotki, you can cuss me out there... :)

Keclee23,

I just want to commend you on being such a cool and level headed lady under pressure. I'm glad your rollerset turned out well for you.

I think some of these ladies are taking it a bit too personal. I know you all know Jen but how many of you know her in person, as in are good friends with her (I've seen her on the site, but I wouldn't say I "know" her). Then too, I wouldn't vouch for someone just because I know them through the internet. I haven't bought dominican products in a while but when I did I skipped over ordering from roundbrush because I found the products for cheaper prices at other online vendors. This thread would scare me off from ordering from roundbrush. Not because of the OP's experience, but because ya'll are acting like ya'll are members of a gang and Jen is one of the crew.

lol...I understand what u are trying to say. This is my first time actualy seeing this thread.. wow. Soon as I saw the title... it got me upset. I personally know Jen along with some other members and we are very good friends away from the site.
I felt the title was an instant attack on her and her business. Hundreds of people view this forum and would have immediately gotten turned off before it was resolved privately. She is a great person and I know she would never do anything like that.
I'm glad things were eventually settled and it was just a misunderstanding.

I'm glad the product worked for you Keclee23, thanks for letting us know...and keep your head up;)
