I also understand where you are coming from. If you were complaining about Sheldeez, no one would think you were calling anyone out, because no one from Sheldeez has been a member of the forum (as far as I know). JenniferMD was a member of LHCF at one time. She is very nice, but since you are a customer who does not "know" her as many of the ladies do, I understand that your complaint was not meant personally against her. I guess we need to remember that this board is growing every day, and that ladies who are members now were not present in the past and may not know the history of many things that go on here. Some people still don't know who Niko's cousin is, so how can we expect everyone to know that JenniferMD runs Roundbrush.com?

That being said, I am off to check the site, because I see that the OP is located in Italy and this must mean that Roundbrush delivers overseas????

LOL I sorry but your post about Sheldeez tickled me because I get nothing but good service from them but my closest friends order stuff and get the run around. So I get the phone calls like "Umm, I need you to order something from Sheldeez for me since you got VIP". So this one made me laugh!

No they don't I had to have it sent to my mom in states, then she same day expressed shipped it to me. But you know who that same day definition means NADAH when sending stuff overseas.

Any other site and this wouldnt be exceptable, right? It would be ridiculous if any other site said its products has a certain ingredient then it doesnt. She expected her Lacio Lacio to have mink oil bc thats what the site said so damm right she or anybody else would be upset. If someone is upset about something they have the right to vent. She already said she didn't know JenniferMD so it wasnt personal, all she wanted to know was had anyone else experienced this, it was not an attack on our beloved JenniferMD. Not to start any arguments or involve myself in one, but as the OP stated before, she wasn't trying to blast the company. She was airing her frustration in hopes that anyone else who wanted the same product wouldn't suffer the same consequences. In the end, everyone came out on top. She spoke with the owner of the site and gave us the "inside scoop." If she had never posted this and had just decided to sulk in misery, we would have never known...and maybe someone else would have ended up doing the same thing eventually.

Perhaps it's really not about principle. Perhaps she was simply coming here to vent a frustration...like a knee-jerk reaction. If I was excited about a hair product and then it turned out not to live up to my expectations, the first thing I would possibly do is come here to vent. It's not that I wouldn't contact the company. I would. But if I'm heated and/or want to vent or warn others about the product, it would probably be a split reaction to come here to air that frustration. Has very little to do with common sense.

Also some people are still jumping down this poor woman's back. How was she supposed to now that Roundbrush is run by a former member of LHCF? That's not her fault.

It seems to me that she and JenniferMD had already resolved the situation and were even laughing about it. Why are these posts attacking this poor woman's exercise of common sense still popping up?

Lacio Lacio is not made and manufatured by JenniferMD. But with that said the OP took Jen's word in regards to the product contents and she shoulda picked up the phone and called her first or email...All of which is available on that site....I looked!

& This is a haircare forum where we share hair information. We all love it here, so anything dealing with hair we jump on here to talk about it (or anything else for that matter). It's like family, we vent, we laught, etc. It shouldn't matter that she posted here before she went through some chain of command or the correct protocol. As human beings, we don't always do everything the way they should be, but that doesn't mean we should be harrassed for it. The end result is that everyone is happy.

Yes, I'm aware that the product is not manufactured by Jenn, but Jenn sold the product. And I still think that this is a moot point. We all have raved about a product here on this board. We all have vilified a product here. But we don't contact the sellers or manufacturers about each and every product that we hate. Sometimes we call it a loss. Most of the time we come here to vent about it with or without contacting the seller first. And yes, I think some people are being too hard on Kelcee and making a huge deal out of nothing. Put it this way: if Jenn didn't think it was a big deal and offered a refund or recompense and Kelcee worked it out with her, then there's no harm done. But Kelcee's normal, human reaction brought on from being disappointed and wanting to vent is, to me, not a big deal. It's no different from when any of us do this whether we called someone or not...

But I can understand both sides.

On one end OP was just venting as Ive seen many a people do about how horrible products are or made their hair feel or how cheaply made they are etc. And wasnt saying "Has this company scammed any of you" She was saying "Has anyone ordered the Lacio MINUS mink oil when they thought they were getting the one WITH the mink oil based on the company description". But as I always say someones intentions and tone can easily be understood and is always subject to the readers interpertation.

Im sure she was going to contact the company either way. But just wanted to vent about her experience and how frustrated she was.

On the other end members are like why even create a thread and not just go to the company to quietly resolve the issue. And in part this reaction was just due to the fact that the sight owner is a friend to the room. And to say that its not is kinda not being on the up and up because Ive seen many of threads about other products/companies and I never saw one post that said maybe you should just write a letter to the company instead of trashing their products to the board.

And really its just the cost of doing business. Any time you have a business that services the public you have to know that one person who has a bad experience will tell at least 5 people. And how you respond to that experience will dictate if they refer you to their friends or continue business with you in the future.

It was resolved and is done to death (at 5 pages long including my 6th) but I can empathize....
