She learned her lesson and has been so sweet in her responses. She thought she could vent, yes she should have called the company first but she didn't. And many of us have purchased things only to feel hoodwinked later and didn't want to call nobody and try to work it out, we just wanted to b_tch . No it may not be right but DANG, we already ran one person off last night, just CALM THE HELL DOWN, please and don't try to turn on me either I know how you bytches are

She didnt call the company first, SO WHAT?? I just don't understand what the hell is wrong with venting!?!! DAMN! The girl was just angry. Don't we all get angry sometimes? In the end, she did what she had to do and kept it moving.

I agree. I have been a member / lurker on this site for over a year and had no idea JenniferMd ran that website. She was just venting, give her a break.

Lacio Lacio is not made and manufatured by JenniferMD. But with that said the OP took Jen's word in regards to the product contents and she shoulda picked up the phone and called her first or email...All of which is available on that site....I looked!
So, why you all my feel she's being jumped on...I feel she overreacted jus a tad. Cuz it was an easy fix!

no, it's actually been mentioned withing the last 6 months or so. I will try and see if I can find the threads. I think that Mona Lisa was the first person to bring it to the boards attention a while.

All I can say is, good lookin' out Mo because as soon as I heard, I went out and copped every bottle with Mink oil that I could find. I managed to find around 13. For me, there was a noticible difference in my hair when I used the one without it

Yep, I'm thinking the same thing. I've seen plenty other vendors on blast and everyone was just like 'that's right girl'. Its really kind of sad that everyone here pays there five dollars but everyone is not free to give their opinion. I guess some people's five dollars is worth a little bit more than others.

She already said she didn't know JenniferMD so it wasnt personal, all she wanted to know was had anyone else experienced this, it was not an attack on our beloved JenniferMD. If it were any other company everyone would want to know about midleading ingredient contents

The problem is Sareca, I didn't trash anyone. I didn't commit a crime either, I just expressed frustration about a questionable item.

I'm not trying to call anyone out. I have seen plenty of post about people ranting an raving about products. I didn't say the product was crap, I just questioned on forum (resource of information) if anyone had ran into this problem as well.

I feel like the purpose of a label is to correctly disclose the ingredients. If I buy based upon a sole ingredient and then later hold the item in hand and its stated otherwise, then some questions are to be answered right? Or am I crazy? erplexed Me questioning such on a site that I pay money to is not defamation, slander, trashing or blasting. What's fair is fair and one should be able to understand my initial reaction.

I'm a pretty level headed person, this whole situation hurts because, I was not trying to harm anyone.

Everyone on this board has the right to rave or rant, as long as were not calling each other names, slandering, defaming or cursing people out, then I say live and let live....

Here is my two cents. I think you should of called JenniferMd directly first and if she was not responsive than vent on the board. Jennifer is very professional and has excellent customer service skills.

Mink oil is prohibited in the United States. Mink oil can not be listed on the ingredients if the product is sold in US.

We have become defensive because we know Jen and we know she would have taken care of the issue or explained to you why this occured with the product. Jen is very professional and has no problems talking to you about your hair and products.

It is not that you had an issue. It is how you went about taking care of that issue.

I don't know Jen and I am sure she is a nice and professional person but how was the OP suppose to know she was a member of the board. I have read plenty of threads where people complain or rant about being disatisfied with products, do they also contain the company directly? Maybe, maybe not. The point is she expected to get something base on the information on the site and was disappointed when is received her product. I am sure you ladies would not be jumping down the OP's throat if Jen was not a member. She may not have handled it the way that you would have but that does warrant such harsh responses. Please just contact Jen and see if she can accommadate you in any way OP? I am sure she will be glad that you called the discrepency to her attention.

Exactly. You really have no reason to feel bad. Don't allow anyone to bully you into feeling bad. The hyped up/haven't even read the whole thread/jumping to conclusion responses are bewildering

I think some of these ladies are taking it a bit too personal. I know you all know Jen but how many of you know her in person, as in are good friends with her (I've seen her on the site, but I wouldn't say I "know" her). Then too, I wouldn't vouch for someone just because I know them through the internet. I haven't bought dominican products in a while but when I did I skipped over ordering from roundbrush because I found the products for cheaper prices at other online vendors. This thread would scare me off from ordering from roundbrush. Not because of the OP's experience, but because ya'll are acting like ya'll are members of a gang and Jen is one of the crew.

It is that I had the issue. If I never would have posted in the fashion I did, it wouldn't have been a problem.

I wasn't looking to get resolution from this forum, I was wondering if others ran into the same problem.

I wasn't going to go here but my buttons I feel as though I am being tested...

Jen or whoever, roundhairbrush.com should advertise accurately. If the product doesn't have mink oil in it then say so. I talked to Jen and she is a nice person, I'm sure this was a mistake in updating the website to reflect accurate ingredients and I wasn't mad either. Did I express my frustration on the phone with her like anyother customer would? Yes I did. Am I wrong, I don't think so. Issue's like this happen all the time and owners are well trained (or should be rather) to handled meticulous customers such as myself. If it was my own sister to owned roundbrushhair and I ordered, I would react the same way.

And for the record I did call the sales office a few times prior to calling again and finally speaking to the customer service rep (who happen to be Jen). So, my reaction wasn't a knee jerk one.

I took down my original post because I'm not one to be apart of any problems nor contribute to any. Having it up seem to be getting people HEATED. That's the last thing I want. Furthermore, some of these sista's got me feel like I need to throw dem bows, got a sistah all pint up in a corner because I said something. My blood pressure rising and such....

It's bad enough that I live in Italy and have to deal with the mafia!
