Relaxed Hair Thread

I’ve heard the fibergaurd doesn’t get the hair as straight but retains more strength. I use the first one- not sure if anyone here uses fiber guard and can chime in.

Alright... gonna try the first one then, the cream relaxer.

These are the things I think I would need:

Step 1: Protecto With Argan Oil
Step 2: Creme Relaxer (resistant strength)
Step 3: 5 in 1 Reconstructor or Positive Link Conditioner? Which of these belongs to this system?
Step 4: Normalizing Shampoo

What else do I need/what else do you recommend?

This time, I want to get everything right, every small detail... because if this does not work, this will be my last try.

Of course I will let you know if it worked. :-)

I use the positive link treatment for step 3. I think it starts neutralizing the relaxer.
Step 5 would be a bond builder (ie k18) and the last step is deep conditioning with the best low ph product you have. I try various things but I might do the Redken abc mask as my deep conditioning step in my next relaxer.

Got it.

This one?
Or which one do you recommend?

Alright.

Now we only need a cleansing or a chelating shampoo to use beforehand, and we got everything ready. Any recommendations for that one?

I am curious how this "experiment" will turn out this time... :)

yep that’s the k18 I use although I bought the salon set cause the consumer bottles are ridiculous for the amount you receive. It’s difficult to find sometimes though if you aren’t licensed.

Using the k18 detox shampoo is good and then you could pre strengthen your hair before relaxing. That’s my preferred clarifying shampoo.
