My goodness...just one usage of the shampoo/conditioner gave me a rats nest for months! The hot oil also made it very dry for a couple of weeks. ( serves me right for straying from my wonderful jojoba oil)

Never buying ors jojobab its all grease yuck, and I kinda like it in the beginning

Aphogee Balancing Moisturizer .... if you use this after the hard aphogee...expect breakage.

biosilk gloss serum...has alchohol the drying kind you put on cuts

carols daught aret hair smoothie...overly expensive, does not moisterize, does not smooth on, does not detangle. No no no no no.

ORS Olive oil cream...since they changed the formula, it's nothing but a jar of mineral oil ... AND its expensive

clarifying shampoo (maybe once a year)...that stuff will leave your hair in a HOT tangled mess .

Wait...not my Elasta QP Mango Butter, it is fantastic! I love to use it to lay down my edges and it smells sooo good.


Oh well, I do not like a lot of stuff that I used in the past. I cant even remember half of them. Some of the worst were the Pink Stuff or course, I dont even know the name of it, but we all know what I am talking about. I dont like any of those cheap shampoos, like Suave or VO5, its not worth the $1. No on Pantene, they gave us free samples every year when I was in college and like a fool I would use them, each time thinking things would be different but always disappointed. I like infusium the original leave in product but the shampoo was terrible. Dont like Silk Elements, Ions, Scurl, Ruskins, Matrix, spritz, etc...there is more but I cant think of the names.

No Lye Relaxers
I accidently picked up no lye instead of regular lye. my roots were thick as heck and I couldn't wait to pick up the lye relaxer, so I used the stuff I had. It was the biggest mistake ever! I think the no lye chemical ate away my hair on the right side. I've been regrowing my hair since.

Elasta Q.P DPR 11: worked well at first but doesn’t anymore. It doesn’t have good slip. It really let me down because I posted a rave review about it not too long ago.
ORS Hair Mayonnaise: Does nothing for my hair but leave it hard and dry.

Doing my own hair for over three years means I have an extremely long list. There are many more I want to put down but these are the ones that I remember:

Elasta QP Mango Butter- Smelled nice but I rather use grease.

Fantasia IC Deep Conditioner- hair felt very much like glue was poured on it
Lustrasilk Cholesterol- used to work until they changed their board of directors back in 2004.... and the formula too.

Aubrey Organics- I just need to realize that natural stuff isn't for me.

Tresemme- works for my mom, not for me.

Creme of Nature Anything- I hate balsam-enriched stuff.

Aussie Moist Shampoo- Smells yummy but over time I had this evil film on hair

NTM products- sorry girls... I just can't hang

Optimum Care lines-

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle- both formulas just were blah.

CLAIROL HERBAL ESSENCES HELLO HYDRATION !!!! My hair was soooo dry and it took me like a month to get my moisture level in my hair right again !

ELASTA QP Mango Butter - That stuff dried my hair out sooo bad. Tried it when I first found LHCF. ELASTA QP Mango Butter = dry thirsty and brittle hair ! NEVER AGAIN !

I notice that it seems like depending on what is done with the hair (relaxed or natural) the products seems to matter.

I am natural and now i cannot use

IC Pure Tea shampoo - i usually clarified with that when i had relaxed hair, but i recently used it on my natural hair and it left my hair striped and dry.
The infamous Pink Oil - rotten stuff.
Motions anything - the protein is too much for my hair
WGO - wasted my money 2x, trying to keep the faith...
MTG - lawd ah mercy - stinks and i felt like i always needed a shower when i used it...
Mane and Tail Moisturizing shampoo - stay away if you are natural.
(weird how the regular shampoo is okay though)

i just threw out and give away a bunch of stuff can't remember.
But i gotta say, QP mango butter is working for me. i can use it to twist my hair and it is soft and nice.
