Haven't been logged on in a while and I see alot of new and old members...things have changed....I am just curious, who is natural, transitioning, relaxed or texlaxed?

Also,

What 3 tips have you learned in your journey for healthy hair?

So I guess I'll start.....

Relaxed

I learned to:

Stretch my relaxers to 20+ weeks, not on purpose but learning different techniques allowed me to stay without a relaxer longer.

Handle with Care.....I am gentle with my hair at all times

Brushing with a soft boars head brush

I'm relaxed.

I have learned to stretch my relaxers, how to rollerset, and how protective styles help my hair. Also learned the importance of deep conditioning and washing weekly.

I'm relaxed.

Since being here, I've learned

To stretch my relaxer applications
How to properly use reconstructors and protein treatments
How to properly wrap my hair

I am relaxed. I have learned so much in such a short time (thanks mizanimami and sis!). Mostly I've learned that products matter-- they don't have to be expensive but they do have to be effective. My hair needed moisture and deep conditioning and daily attention and I was doing so much damage with daily heat. I have also learned the importance of weekly washing and conditioning. The texture of my hair and manageability has greatly improved.

Relaxed.

Top Things I ve learned

1) How to rollerset

2) How to keep my hair moisturized

3) How to grow long hair and still look fly in the process

My style is relaxed

I have learned that
1) Moisture is very important to healthy hair
2) Finding a daily/weekly hair care routine is essential
3) What works for everyonelse does not neccessarily work for me.

Natural. The last time I took one of these polls I was transitioning :)

What 3 tips have I learned in my journey for healthy hair...?
Lots more than 3! But I'll try to narrow it down.

1) Heat breaks hair
2) Friction breaks hair
3) Overlapping chemicals over and over again breaks hair

100% Natural :)

1) I learned to Moisturize, Moisturize

2) Comb hair only when wet

3) Washing hair more often

4) Enjoying my hair;)

I'm natural!
3 tips I have learned in my journey for healthy hair:

Don't comb dry hair
Conditionning wash is better for my hair:)

Natural in the house

3 things I've learned:

1) Hair dye is not for me
2) Moisture is key
3) Sometimes hair needs a little protein

1) How to rollerset

All of these have contributed to my hair growth and health, so thanks ladies!:D

OT: wow your hair really grew alot within a year, your hair is very beautiful and looks very healthy, keep up the good work.

Ok back to the topic:lol:

I definitely could have asked for more than three things, I learned way more than 3 but I wanted to keep it simple .....

I love the responses! Moisture definitely! Embracing your hair! creating regimes

:clapping: :clapping:

Keep em comin' ladies!

I am natural.

Three things I have learned:

My hair is always thirsty.

My hair dislikes combs.

Pressing even one time can leave you with permanently straightened hair if your stylist isn't careful.

transitioning, 1 year 2 months an going strong

....less is more in regards to products.
....hair loves water
....aint nothing wrong with being curly

Relaxed checking in!!

Three things I have learned since joining LHCF:

1. Moisture is important: esp. for color treated hair (used to be afraid to put moisturizing products in my hair for fear they would weigh my hair down)

2. Stretching my relaxers: has allowed my hair an opportunity to attempt to get thicker; still got some ways to go

3. Water is not the enemy:mad:
