I managed to get him to give a 20% discount, but I would like to get him to go down on shipping as well.
For the Ladies that leave in Atlanta you can pick up the dryer from the seller, in that case you will only be paying $231.


I am determined to get a Pibbs, so I am working my butt off to get a good deal.

That's exactly what I said in my e-mail last night. I told him I was interested but could not give him a definite answer until I knew the shipping costs. I gave him my city, state and zip code and he told me he would get back to me with an answer today.
 
This is a pretty good deal. Kudos to OP for arranging. I bought mine from buyrite prior to both deals and paid $318 including shipping ~2006. No sale or anything.
I must say that it has been worth every penny. I love the dryer (514) and u can have the comfort of being in a "beauty salon" 24 hours a day. And since my schedule is ridiculous and can't make a reliable hair appointment, that thing is a Godsend.
 
With the shipping charge, the deal is just not worth it for me. I think he can do better than that. At least it doesn't give me an incentive to rush out and buy it before June 25th. :( I'm not good at negotiating or I'd try to get him to go lower on the price.
 
He told me $50 for shipping (after I e-mailed him a second time), so my total would be $281. Thanks, but no thanks :nono:
