Hey Perfectdoak! Love the blue color!!! ;)

*edit* I just looked at your album. Is it violet or blue like your avatar? Either way, it looks good! :)

yeah, i was dying my hair black for a while, but my hair won't stay black for my life, so i decided to stop messing with my hair color until my hair is natural, then I just want to dye brown/blond...i liked the platinum blonde color you managed to get in your blog...the only thing is, i've gone blond in the past and my hair always turns a brassy/orangey color...maybe since i co-wash every couple of days that wont happen anymore?

Ambitious1013, it's both, depending on the light! It looks blue in some light, violet in others. (It's looking blue at the moment...)

GoingNatural, it's hard to get dark hair to go a blonde that's not brassy. I used a non-permanent 'silver' dye to get it looking platinum-ish. If you want to go blonde without brassiness, maybe what you could do is use a silver non-permanent dye, a silver toner or if they do that silver shampoo in a conditioner version, use that to CO wash occasionly...? Also, what's supposed to be good is adding a bit of blue-based purple non permanent dye to your conditioner. Make sure it's not red based though, that'll make your hair pink, or increase any brassiness.

Also, thanks to missvi, hopeful and Mestiza :)

PerfectDoak, I love love love your hair and the color also. I never knew you had pics on your blog! I'm going to check them out now. I remember you posted a pic of pink hair and i thought it was so very cute on you. You are definitely doing your thing with your gorgeous and wild hair colors. i absolutely love it. I would love to have maybe a few dark purple or pink streaks in my hair....but just cant do it since i work in a professional office....

ETA: ok i just checked out the blog. GIRL!!! I am in love with your hair! I loved the purple, red, and turquoise colors you had going on. I had never seen anyone with turquoise hair color, i think you have invented something new! Congrats on being successful with your hair coloring, and i look forward to seeing more to come!!!!

Thanks Mizani_Mrs!
It seems to be a common misconception that I don't have pics in my blog, hence the change in my signature.
Have you thought about something like Manic Panic Glam Strips, for when you're out of work? ;) :) They're clip-in bright coloured mini hair extensions.

Ooooooh, too bad they don't make them closer to my hair texture :(

I thought the same thing.
Before I bleached, I was considering getting wefts of the coloured synthetic hair you can set in hot water. I was going to curl them then clip them in. But I never bothered, I assumed the curl wouldn't match my hair as my hair is so random.
Another option could be curly perming and dyeing some human hair wefts. But I don't know how well they'd hold up to the processing.

Had to jump on the bandwagon and say that I luv your hair also! I was all up in your blog last week! LOL
